The patrol was the moment I wanted. The ability to just feel freedom. But the thing I liked was be able to be alone with the heli.
End of Audio Log A-4
The route that vex took to get to the patrol area, was long but he couldn't get some things out from his mind so he just took a few detour routes from the main route. From what he didn't know that the helicopter wasn't something he expected it to be.
As vex looks over his shoulder at the lake view from where some of his training took place from. "Man is this view good for a detour, don't you agree heli. You probably do" vex said out loud from his thinking, not knowing that he isn't the only one that he is talking to. He has turned his radio receiver from his headset but still has a button incase of a emergency. But he just admires the scene for a bit before continuing the course for the patrol he wanted.
Time skip a few minutes to the start of the patrol.
"Holy shit this place is nice" vex didn't know that the area he was assigned to was a place he didn't know existed, was nice and we'll kept with a nice waterfall from the surrounding mountains, treetops all nice and neat seemingly unatural. But something felt wrong, that he was being watched. Vex looked at all sensors, and radar show nothing, nobody in sight nothing. He didn't want to radio in it because it could just be something coming back to him from his past,but he doesn't recall something that can trigger it. What happened next he didn't think he would think was real. (Note: when the heli speaks it will be bolded when it's thinking it will be bold and italicized) "hello vex I see you have found me. This isn't your mind talking to you." A unknown serious male voice said towards vex, startling him. "Who what who just talked?" Vex replied not knowing that it was the helicopter.
"It is the helicopter that your are in that is speaking to you. In fact LTC Mia wasn't the one that planned this patrol it was me planning it , just that he needed to log your patrol. Anyways the reason that you are the only one here is simple. No one wants to be here but apparently you, you have picked the right choice in my opinion." The helicopter said to vex. "So what does this comply of got any features that I need to be aware of?"
