The day off

The next day Jimin and N woke up feeling better. It was really hard for Jimin to take days off but he did it anyway. He wanted to take care of her.

They could finally spend some time together and do stuff that they barely had time to do normally.

As it got lighter outside, they decided to go for a walk together to clear their minds and to get their focus on something else rather than work and whatever else they were thinking.

It was really starting to get cold outside. Jimin made sure that N wasn't freezing.

As they were walking, they talked about basically everything. How they were feeling and and so on. They had been walking for hours, just going wherever the small road lead them. They even ended up in a small part of the city that Jimin knew very well. At one point, Jimin wanted to show N something so he took her to a place where he used to go whenever he was feeling down.

The place was so beautiful and even though it was so cold outside, there were still beautiful flowers blooming and the trees still looked fresh. He followed her to a bench where he would always sit back in the days. They sat down on the bench still holding hands.

The thing that made this place so special was the fact that no one knew about it. There were never people going there, which allowed them to focus on the good things without any distractions.

Jimin told N about the place and why it is so personal to him as she listened closely.

Jimin: "I used to always go here when I was younger... it still looks as beautiful as back then. I went here every time I felt down and whenever I was going through hard times so I could focus on better things than my thoughts. My friend showed me this place before he moved out of the country, he told me that it was special to him since only him and I knew about it. He said that every time I felt bad about myself I should come here and try to focus on the nature here. It helped him a lot and he knew I was having a hard time so he thought it would help me as well, and it actually did. He also told me to only show it to someone who I really love so... I hope it can help you as well" he said as he smiled.

N: "Jimin... that was so beautiful" she said as she wiped away her tears.
N: "Thank you for showing me" she then said.
Jimin: "I'm glad I can share it with you" he said as he looked at her. She then looked at him, it was as if time stopped. They kept looking at each other until Jimin kissed her. It was so slow and passionate. They kissed for a long time until they both broke it. They smiled at each other as they hugged.

Jimin: "I love you" he said while still hugging her. This moment was so beautiful that they both had tears in their eyes.
N: "I love you too, thank you for helping me" she said into the hug.

They stayed like that for some time until they realized that they had been out the whole day since it was starting to get dark. The both stood up hand in hand and walked back to the small road. It suddenly got colder as if that place was somehow warm. On their way back they didn't talk as much. They were both getting soft and emotional from the episode before.

Jimin: "Jagiya?"
N: "Yes?" she smiled.
Jimin: "If you have the time, please go to that place whenever you're having bad thoughts" he said as he tried to hide the fact that he was about to cry. All of this was just too emotional for him to handle.
N: "Yes, I will" she said as she looked up at him. She noticed that this had made him emotional so she got closer to him while they were walking.

After some time they were finally home. It had turned almost completely dark at this point. Jimin opened the front door and they both went inside. Even though it was late it still wasn't as late as to the point where they would sleep so they decided to stay downstairs and just relax.

They were laying on the sofa together. Jimin was holding her close to him which made her feel safe and relaxed.

Jimin: "Are you feeling any better after today?" he softly and silently asked her as he noticed she was starting to get tired.
N: "A lot" she silently said as she closed her eyes. He was still holding her tight.
Jimin: "I'm glad to hear that" he said as he smiled at how cute N was, laying there with him as he held her.

As time passed, N almost fell asleep. Jimin noticed but decided to let her sleep as she needed that sleep. They were both going back to work tomorrow which was okay since they had both used this day off to calm down and relax together.

It was now late and Jimin started to get tired as well. He noticed that N had fallen asleep in his arms and since he didn't want to wake her up he carried her upstairs and laid gently her in their bed. She luckily didn't wake up from his movements. Jimin put the blanket over her as he got in the bed too. He closed his eyes and fell asleep not long after.

This day was so special. They really needed more days like this.
