Everyone was already there, chatting excitedly as it was the first day of school. There was one particular girl, however, who stood out from everyone else and had loads of people coming up to her to talk.
Alexandria Woods.
Or, better known as Alex. Why she wore an eyepatch that didn't look as if for medical purposes, had her hair over her eye, or had the front of a baseball cap over her eyes, no one knew.
This was all until one particular boy came in. The second he walked in, she could hear a few people scream. She looked up, her eyes showing for a split second before she realized and her hair covered her eyes once again.
Everyone knew who it was.
Ethan Roberts. Just your same old demon-devil.
Well, one of the only ones. Most of them had been murdered due to "danger"- one of the things people didn't even need to worry about with him. Frantic whispers and low mumbles could be heard throughout the entire hallway; teacher's, students, anyone there. Except for Alex.
There were people staring and pointing from every direction as Ethan made his way down the hall, eventually standing away from everyone, his eyes glancing over at his brother who had just walked in. However, despite him being a devil too, there were several happy shrieks and squeals from multiple girls as they all ran over, immediately switching from impatient quietness to annoying chatterboxes- but Jay didn't seem to mind.
The popular maroon-haired boy made his way through the crowd, looked over at Alex and winked, hoping she would fall for it too.
But she didn't. She simply snorted from laughter and started talking to her friends again. To Ethan's hidden delight, Jay looked outraged. His hands clenched into fists, but he eventually made it over to his group of friends. They all talked until the bell rung, multiple groans breaking out and quick walking through the hallways.
