Eugeo x Reader (Indefinite Hiatus)

Ch. 4 Loss of Eternity

It was morning, as the sun shined and seemed like a normal day. There was a lot of commotion outside, "it's only 7AM, what is all the noise from?" I think out loud as I change into my (Y/O) and open the door to see Eugeo and Kirito with frightened faces, "(Y/N)! We have to hurry! Alice is in danger!" Eugeo and Kirito say in unison, they rush you out of your house and close the door. Eugeo takes your hand as the three of you rush toward the village plaza to see a white knight in armor riding on a dragon. "ALICE!!" I shout as I see her chained up. She looks at us shocked at first but then smiled, "Kirito, Eugeo. Please protect (Y/N) and bring her memories back— I love you all." She managed to say through her fear as the integrity knight began to fly off. "Alice I'll save you!!" Kirito shouted as he grabbed an axe and rushed toward the chain on the dragon, before he managed to get close he was whacked with a force of wind made by the knight. Kirito fell on his back as he glanced at Eugeo and I, "Eugeo! (Y/N)! Do something—! Move!" He shouted, "I have to move! I can't let them take her—!" I think to myself as I take a step forward only to feel a sharp pain on my wrist, you look at your arm to notice Eugeo holding it. "Don't move... we can't go against the Taboo Index, and I won't lose you too..." He said toward you for only you to hear, Eugeo then glanced downward so his hair covered his eyes. After the integrity knight flew off I began to run where the dragon was only to fall to my knees, "ALICE!!!!!" I shout as tears begun to drift down my cheeks.. "This truly feels like a loss of eternity." I whisper to myself as Eugeo and Kirito both hug me close..

Eugeo POV

It has been a week since (Y/N) and Kirito has been seen.. I hope they are feeling better— especially (Y/N)..
(Flashback to the village plaza)
"Eugeo.. I don't know what to do, Alice was like my sister.. a-and now she's gone.." (Y/N) whispered as she trembled and gripped my shirt tightly, I held my tears in to be strong as I hugged her to comfort her.. "I know.. she was close to all three of us, but we have to be strong for her. It's what she would've wanted right? I'm sure she'll be waiting for us." I said softly as I place my hand on her head and softly ran my hand through her soft (H/C) locks to calm her.
(Flashback end No POV)

As Eugeo continued his everyday duty, Kirito practiced his axe swinging by himself while (Y/N) practiced her sword swinging and sacred art spells. (Y/N) glances at her sword to reread the carving, she then smiled as she grabs her sword and ran to the tree only to see Eugeo and Kirito. "You guys.. how'd you know I'd be here?" You say to the two and they give their cheeky smile, "We know you (Y/N) haha, I guess great minds think alike." Kirito replied as he places his arm around your shoulder, "Were in this together.. always together." Eugeo announced as we circle around and place our hands in the middle, "I love you guys.. I wouldn't be here without you two!" You say happily, "For The Future!" You say, "For the Future!" Kirito replies, then Eugeo looks at you and smiles, "For the Future!" He shouts and you all raise your hands cheering.

~Friendship is meaningful— love is eternal— while enemies are forgetful.. what can you call this crossing fate as we seek out the truth for our journey of a never ending story..~

It has been several months since Kirito returned to the normal world.. You and Eugeo haven't had a single trace of him since, and somehow Eugeo seemed to have forgotten his name or what his voice sounded like. But somehow you kept those memories, you spoke to Eugeo everyday about him so he wouldn't forget, but he could only remember you. Throughout the time Kirito was gone, you've grown more mature as well as Eugeo. But one thing that Eugeo has grown besides you is his feelings for you.. You two have become more closer but barely had the chance to see each other as your sacred arts duty had been dragging you down, but as days come closer.. That'll soon come to an end.
