C H A P T E R 1

(Y/N) POV

I was skating around Central Park trying to look for something  to do. The only thing I have is my backpack with nothing except homework in it. Honestly it was boring being a so-called 'TomBoy' cause the prissy princesses of my school managed to get everybody to not be my friend. Like just because I use a skateboard and is not girly girl doesn't give people the right to treat me different. Like I still dress up neatly and don't act like a dude. God people these days. 

While I was lost in thought I kinda crashed into a little stone wall, falling on the floor. 

"Are you ok??" I saw this girl with red hair looking at me with a worried face. 

"I'm fine." I said getting up rubbing my knee. 

"Are you sure? 'Cause you look like your hurt. You can come over, if you want, and I can help." She said grabbing my arm as I almost fall.  Gosh she is so caring. Wish my parents were like that.

Um... sure i'll come over." I say as she helped me walk. 

"Ok. KIDS ITS TIME TO GO!!" She yells and two kids come over. 

"Jessie, who's this?" A little girl asks. 

"This is..." Jessie started

"I'm (Y/N)." I say trying to grab my skateboard. 

"So (Y/N), this is Zuri," Jessie points at the little girl and she smiles.

"And this is Ravi." She said pointing at the boy next to Zuri. 

"Is this yours?" Ravi asks grabbing my skateboard.

I nodded and he handed it to me. 

Jessie took me to the hotels and went all the way up to the penthouse. Dang, they must have lots of money to afford living up here. I thought looking around the penthouse. 

"Here just sit on the couch and I'll get some stuff." Jessie said leading me to the couch. 

I sat and dropped my skateboard on the floor. I look around and see a giant Lizard walking around the living room. I then put my feet on the coffee table so the lizard can't do anything but it just walks  (Waddles?) into the kitchen. 

"WHERE'S MRS. KIPLING?!?!" I hear Ravi scream. "LUKE WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!" 

I then look over and see a boy the same age as me run down the stairs, chasing the lizard. Ravi then runs down following ,who I guess is Luke, into the kitchen. Ravi then takes Mrs. Kipling back upstairs with a red leash. 

Luke then notices me on the couch and walks over and sits next to me. 

"Hey, I'm Luke." He said with a cute smile. 

"I'm (Y/N)." I reply giving an identical smile. 

"So... you skate?" Luke asks eyeing my board.

"Yeah, but I'm not the best, as you can probably see." I say gesturing to my leg. 

He gives a little chuckle and Jessie comes back into the room with a first aid kit.

"Sorry it took so long, somebody  moved the kit." Jessie said looking at Luke.

"Hey! It wasn't me, this time." He said putting his hands up in defense. I laughed a little but nobody noticed. 

"So, (Y/N), what school do you go to?" Jessie asks me as I pulled my jeans up to my knee.

"I go to Walden Academy." I replied and noticed Luke's face light up.

"Really! I go there too!" He said with a big smile on his face. 

"Who are your teachers'?" I asked.

We actually have a bunch of classes together. How come I've never noticed this cutie before. I thought. 

"Ok I'm done," Jessie said backing up a little with the first aid kit. "Are you going to stay for dinner or are you going to go home?" 

"I think I'll go home. Don't want to worry my parents." I say with a small smile, standing up. They don't care whether I'm home or not. "Thanks for helping me." I tried to put my skateboard into my backpack, but it ended up sticking out.

"No problem." Jessie says.

"Wait! Wanna hang out tomorrow?" Luke says before I press the button on the elevator. 

"Sure." I reply. Did he really want to hang out with me? Did he never hear any of the rumors? I thought as I got into the elevator and chose the Lobby button. I started to walk home, with multiple thoughts going through my head. I reached my house and entered, got some food and went up to my room and layed on my bed, my backpack on the floor. I look up at the ceiling and grab my headphones, starting to listen to (Y/F/S), until I fall asleep.

Luke's POV

I was still sitting on the couch while Jessie was talking to me. But I wasn't listening, I was thinking of (Y/N).

"Luke? Luke!" I heard Jessie call my name and I snapped back into reality. 

"What??" I say.

"Were you thinking about her?" Jessie asks me, giving me a certain look.

"What! No!" I say, a little to fast, which made it more obvious. 

"It's fine. You guys look cute together either way." Jessie said which made me blush a little. 

"JESSIE!!" I said a little embarrassed that she thinks we're cute together. I mean, like I think that too, but do I need my nanny thinking that. No, I don't. 

"DINNERS READY!!" Betrum screams from the kitchen and I run in and take a seat, getting ready to eat.

Oof so this is the first chapter in the story.I actually need title ideas for this story so if y'all get any, just DM or comment it. 

 And... I don't know what else to put here, so yeah.
