Troubled (Luke Ross x Reader)

C H A P T E R 9

(Y/N) POV

"(Y/N)!!" I heard someone say. I turned and saw Emma running at me.

"We have the concert today!!!" She says in pure happiness. 

"Gosh, I know Emma." I replied, with a smile on my face. 

"Hey babe! Bye babe!" Luke said, quickly kissing me on the cheek then running to class.

"He's been acting weird lately." Emma says as we start walking to class.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, I don't know, you and Luke seem to be a little more distant." She replies.

"Well, I've never liked wearing somebody down, especially Luke. Like, he should do want he wants." I reply.

"See, this is why you are my best friend!" Emma says and hugs me. I hugged back.

"OK c'mon. We don't want to be late for Dr. Harmon's class." I reply as we let go. (I'll make a AHS reference and you cant stop me.)

Luke's POV

I ran past Emma and quickly gave (Y/N) a kiss on the cheek. They were talking about the concert later.  I was running to class when Tiffany stopped me. She was one of Rebecca's closest friend. 

"Hey Luke." She said, with a fake smile.

"What do you want?" I say.

"Well, Rebecca wanted to talk to you later. Privately." She tells me.

"Ok, and what if I don't want to talk to her." I snap back at her.

"I think you'd want to hear. It's about your precious (Y/N)." She replies, her smile only growing bigger.

"Ugh, fine, where?" I ask.

"Gym, after school." She answers.

"Rebecca?" I say out loud , entering the gym.

"I'd knew you'd be here." She says, getting off the bleachers.

"What do you want, I have to go somewhere." I say to her.

"Ok, I won't say anything, but I got of photo from somebody." She says, handing me a printed photo. It was Ravi and (Y/N) hanging out, the next was her and some other guy. 

"Ok? What do you want me to do with these?" I reply.

"She's clearly cheating on you! With your own brother!" Rebecca says.

"Um, no. I was introducing (Y/N) to Ravi and I went to the bathroom. Plus I don't see anything in this other photo." I tell her.

"Bu-" She started but I cut her off.

"No. Your just trying to make me break-up with (Y/N) so I will go with you, but that's not happening." I tell Rebecca, before walking out. That was the most pointless conversation I've ever had. She was just trying to scare me but making assumptions. 

I kept walking and saw Emma and (Y/N) waiting outside.

"Hey girls." I say, walking up to them. 

"Hey Luke." They both said.

"Who are you brining Em?" I ask. 

"Sophia. She's getting her car right now." Emma replied. We waited awhile and Sophia pulled up on the curb. 

"Sorry my cars really small, and all my stuff is in here." Sophia said, trying to push everything to the side. Emma sat in the front and me and (Y/N) sat in the back. We made it to the concert and it was already sunset, and busy. Emma showed the voucher the tickets Shawn sent, and he let us through. Another voucher guided us to the VIP area, which was right in front of the stage. 

"Hey Emma! Hey (Y/N)!" We all heard and turned to see Shawn and Noah walking over to us. Emma ran over and hugged Shawn. 

"Thanks so much!!" She said when they pulled away from the hug. After she realized what she did, she blushed. I looked back at Shawn and saw he was blushing a little too. Holy crap they like each other. I thought. 

"Who's this?" Noah and Shawn asked looking at me and Sophia. 

"Oh this is my boyfriend, Luke," (Y/N) said.

"And my best friend, Sophia." Emma finished.

We all said hi to each other before a guard goes over to Shawn, telling him he needs to get ready. Noah stayed with us, and we ended up getting along really well. While me and Noah would be in conversation, I would catch (Y/N) looking at us with a smile.

After around 20 minutes, Shawn walked out on stage, having the whole audience scream at the top of their lungs. At the end of the concert, he was singing 'If I Cant Have You'. While nearing the end of the song, he went up to our little group and held his hand out for Emma. She grabbed it and he got her on top of the stage. Once he finished the song, he leaned in and kissed her. On stage. I started screaming for my sister and so did Sophia, Noah, and (Y/N). I looked over to her and we leaned in, sharing a kiss. We pulled away after what felt for decades, but in reality was around 30 seconds. We smiled at each other and I put my hand around her waist.

GUYS IM SO SORRY, ITS JSUT LATELY IVE BEEN WATCHING AVENGERS STUFF AND I FOUND OUT ABOUT EVAN PETERS QUICKSILVER AND EVAN PETERS IN GENERAL AND I STARTED WATCHING AMERICAN HORROR STORY AND I GOT SO ADDICTED AND IVE BEEN READING MORE THAN WRITING.
