I woke up from a long night and groggily got up to get dressed. I chose a white t-shirt with a some-what faded looking navy blue hoodie with black leggings.

I did my morning routine and went downstairs to get breakfast. I see my dad on the couch, sleeping deeply, with a glass bottle next to him. I sneak over and grab the bottle and quietly throw it in the trash. I grabbed a granola bar and my backpack and walked out. Skateboard or no? I thought, but ended up just walking. I plugged my headphones in and started listening to (Y/F/A). I kept walking until I hit the school, and sat down by the tree, in the shade. School doesn't start 'till 7:50 and it was only 7:30. Once it was 7:45, you started to walk to your first class, which was Life Science. You sat at a corner seat in the very back, which was next to a window. I was used to sitting in the back, since nobody ever wanted to hang out with me, I was shocked when some one did sit next to me. I looked over and saw it was Luke.
"Hey." I said taking one earbud out and letting it dangle.
"Hi." He replied, making a smile.
"If everybody can please sit down, I will explain what were are going to do today." Said Mrs. Crystal. She went over the lesson, also writing the assignment down on the board.
"This is going to be a project, so if everybody can choose a partner that would be great. I'll call your name so you can tell me who your partner is." She said.
"Wanna be partners?" Luke said looking over at me.
"Sure." I say as his face lights up. We went over the project and I now I somehow have to go with him back to his place.
"Luke? Who's your partner?" Asks Mrs. Crystal, looking up at Luke.
"Oh! (Y/N). " Luke says, causing some kids to silently gasp. So. He's my partner. It's not like I'm a dragon. I thought. I glance around the classroom, seeing some kids glaring at me. Especially Connie Thompson. I shrugged it off and we continued to do our work. The bell then rings and Connie gets up and walks over to me and Luke.
"Hey Lukie-Pookie! I heard you were partners with (Y/N). Honestly I would think your avoiding me." Connie says with a shocked expression.
"That's because I am avoiding you." Luke says scooting over a little closer to me.
"Oh Lukie! Your so funny, heh, avoiding your girlfriend. Ok well I'm going to lunch. Bye Lukie! Bye (Y/N)." Connie says before walking out the classroom.
"So... she's your girlfriend?" I ask, with a heavy feeling in my stomach.
"No! Definitely not! She's just obsessed over me." Luke replies, the heaviness getting lighter. We got our stuff and headed down to the lunch room.
"Do you want to sit with me and my friends?" Luke asks me.
" Um... Sure. " I reply following Luke. I sat next to him as he introduced me to his friends. They all seemed super nice to me and everything was going smoothly before some girl came over to the table with her hand on her hip. Rebecca.
"Hey guys. So did this thing just sit with you guys. Probably. It's not like she even has any friends, or a family that cares." She said with a fake tone. If this mother frisker just came over here just to make me look bad then she has a whole other thing coming. I thought, but it was as if Luke could read my mind.
"Um.. actually that was all wrong. First, I invited her to sit with us. Second, she's not a thing she's a person. And third, she does have friends, but she didn't have to blackmail or buy people like you." Luke said standing in front of me facing Rebecca. I heard her table go 'ooooo' or 'he's in batsh*t now'. Rebecca just scoffed and walked back to her table. The bell then rang indicating that its time for our electives. I got Robotics while Luke had Math Lab, probably cause of his math grade.

Me and Luke were waiting for Jessie to pick us up from school when Emma runs up to us.
"OMG Luke did you stand up to Rebecca today??" She asks seeming pretty happy.
"Um.. Yeah, why?" Luke replied with complete confusion.
"It serves her right, that's why!! She's stolen all my fashion tips and designs and made everyone think I stole them from her. Wait, why did you stand up to her though?" Emma says.
"Well, she was talking trash about (Y/N), I couldn't just sit there." Luke says as my cheeks become a light pink blush.
"Aww! I totally ship you two!!" Emma says. "Also tell Jessie that I might spend the night at Sophia's place." She then ran off, leaving me and Luke like before. Jessie then came up and picked me and Luke up.
"Want to work in my room?" Luke asks me and I nodded, following him to his room. Let's just say, it wasn't the cleanest room but I could still move around so it's fine. I jumped on his bed and crashed into the pillows, dropping my backpack on the edge. I turned my head slightly and saw a koala plush neatly laying against the pillows.
"Aw, who's this??" I asked Luke while picking it up.
Luke blushed a faint pink color before answering. "That's Kenny The Koala."
I gave it a hug before sitting up, with Kenny still in my arms. "He's cute." I say with a small smile.
"Wow, your the first person who hasn't said anything bad about it." Luke says with a reassuring look. I gave him a hug which caused him to blush a little.
"Well they're jerks." I say.
"So... why did Rebecca say 'a family that cares' at lunch today?" Luke asks with a concerned look. Was I really going to tell him?
What does Rebecca mean?? What is (Y/N) hiding from Luke?? Is Author-Chan going to give the character a actual name?? Ok, probably, BUT!!!!!!!!!
