A bad Water Feature

Mr Harrington says loudly. I laugh a little. "alright, Mj up your next to Brad. Ned sit next to Betty. Mary also next to Brad. Peter come with me" Mr Harrington moves us all. Peter rolls his eyes.

"Great" he says sarcasticly. I go and sit next to Brad on the other side. I take out my book.

"do you wanna watch a movie, I got a two headphone adapter?" Brad asks. I was about to say sure until I saw he was talking to Mj. I just roll my eyes and put my headphones in and start to read my book.

The flight was long and boring. We got off at the Venice airport. I waited for Peter so I could get off with him.
"so how was being the teachers pet for 8hrs?" I laugh. Peter rolls his eyes.

"awesome" we both laugh. We get off the plane and go through customs again. I see a dog walk up to Peter and sniff his bag. The policeman who was with the dog calls Pete over. Oh shit, hope they don't see his suit.

I quickly walk past them and to the group. I see Ned and Betty holding hands.

"Omg Betty and Ned. Awww" I say as I walk over to them.

"yeah, turns out we a lot alike" Ned says as he turns to Betty and kisses her cheek.

"so I guess your not doing the bachelors in Europe anymore?" I ask.

"yeah, well it just turned out how I wanted it to" Ned says again.

"hey Mary, are you and Peter together? I always see you two making cute little faces at each other. And both of you are so close" Betty Excitedly. I shake my head.

"haha no we're not. Me and Pete have known each other for years so that's why we're so close. Besides he likes someone else" I put my bags down and go onto my phone and turn airplane mode off. Betty takes me over to somewhere else.

"well Peter always looks as if he's dying to be with you, whenever he looks at you he has really big heart eyes, when ever he talks about you his smile always brightens and whenever you look at him, you always just stare at him like YOU want to get with him. I think the person he likes is you Mary and the person you like is him" Betty states. I nod consuming all what Betty said. Is this true? Does he like me? Do I like him?

"But he's like a brother to me. I would rarely see him like that but I mean he does have cute eyes, we're so much alike, he always is there for me, has a great boddy and... Omg I like Peter" my face goes stunned. I put my head in my hands and rub it. "no wonder I get jealous when he talks about her"

"it's alright. C-mon we gotta go. Yes I knew it!!" we walk back to the group. I see Peter. His smiles at me and waves. I wave back but a little wave.
We take a boat to the hotel and we get there, it's still being fixed and 'renovated' as Mr Harrington said before. Peter and Ned have their room and I'm with Betty.
We all get ready to go to the devinchy museum.

"ok, so I'm gonna get you and Peter together" Betty says going into the bathroom. I secretly put my webshooters in my backpack.

"Betty please don't. It's gonna be so weird if he doesn't like me back" I put my bag on. "and I just wanna enjoy this and I also want to do it myself. Please?" I ask about to leave.

"ugh fine" we laugh.

"thanks" we leave the room and then leave the hotel with the group. Betty goes off with Ned and leaves me. I see Peter still looking at Mj. I walk over to him.

"hey" I say quietly.

"hey Mary" he turns to me.

"you ok?" I ask putting my hand on his shoulder. Peter takes my hand places his arm around my shoulders were nobody sees us. He nods.

"yeah, I'm just gonna go get the necklace for Mj" he says. We walk towards a store with a lot of jewelry everywhere. I nod sighing. "you ok" he asks back. I smile and nod at him. Aka lying. We go into the shop.
"bonjono" Peter says looking at his book of Italian words.

"um do you have a necklace that's called the black Dahlia. It's a um... A black flower"

"oh yes, follow me" the store owner goes to find the necklace with Peter. I look around and see very beautiful bracelets and necklaces everywhere.
"here, the bleack Dahlia" the shop owner says holding out the necklace.
"it's perfect" Peter says smiling widely. He looks at me still smiling and showing the necklace to me. "it for her?" the shop owner asks pointing at me. Peters smile fades and he goes uncomfortable.

"uh- I" Peter stutters.

"no it's not but for a girl he likes" I save Peter and walk over to them.

"oh, ok. Well you two would look like wonderful couple"  the shop owner struggles to speak English.

"ah thanks" Peter and I both say and walk out.

"that was awkward" Peter says laughing.

"ye-yeah" I say quietly. "so what are you gonna do now?" I ask him.

"um, maybe we could go look in the museum and wal" Peter gets cut off by Mj.

"Boh!" she says at Pete.

"I'm gonna go and draw something like the river. I'll see you around Peter" I walk away from them so they can get a lone time. I look back at them and I get a jealousy feeling come up in my stomach. God, why do I like him this much.

I walk to were I want to sit and draw, I find a nice spot, take out my book and pencil case and sit down. I look through my book and all it is was Peter. How come I've never noticed until now. I find a page the was clean. I look up and then see the water rising. I could feel my spidey scence tingerling at the back of my head. I out everything back in my bag and run to a spot where no one could see me.

"come on, come on" I whisper trying to get my webshooters on. I walk back out and see a bug splash from the river. Its turning into something that looks like a man. Everyone runs everywhere to get to safety. I look over to Peter who is helping Ned and Betty. He sees me. I gesture him over to me.

"peter come quickly!" I yell.

"what is it?" he asks.

"I don't know but it's ruining this place" I swing up and shoot a web at it. The web doesn't do anything. I look down to Peter, he look up at me. We both here a giant 'WOOSH' sound coming from behind us.

"what the hell" I say quietly. Buildings fall everywhere.

"I got it!" Peter yells jumping over to the broken buildings. I shoot another web but it hits something invisible but then my web bounces back to me. A flying figure comes out behind the monster with green lazers coming out from its hands.

"oi dude we can help! We're both sticky and strong!" I yell over to the flying figure.

"get everyone away from the canels!" he yells back at me. I jump off the pole and get everyone away from the water. I try to hide my face. I get on top of a bridge and a big thing of water is in the sky about to push my against the wall but Peter pushes me away from the strike zone. He gets pushed against the fence of the bridge.

"Peter!" I run over to him. "are you ok!?" I help him up.

"yeah I'm fine, what about you?" he hugs me tight.

"yeah I'm good. C-mon, we gotta help"
