Chapter 2: Draw or Failure

Narrator's P.O.V
A day after the attack on Mistral.

Hunter: Raaaaaaaaaaarrrrhh!!!!

Hunter's roar echoed throughout Salem's palace. Punching the wall over and over. His eyes burned with rage. Kina watched with fear and sadness. Kane crossed his arms. Hachi just simply scoffs. Both unfazed by his actions.

Hunter: Close!! We were so damn CLOSE!!!!!

BOOM!!

With the last punch. Hunter causes the wall to cave in, his Grimm Aura spiking, still Hunter was breathing heavily as he growls. His eyes black and red with black veins on his cheek and his skin pale almost pale as snow.

Hunter: Tell me?! Did we draw or lose!

Hachi: Calm down, Riku.

Hunter winces at the name. Turning his head back. Hachi just shrugged. Hunter's Grimm form slowly deactivate as his bulky form disappears and his body returns to normal. Hunter turns to them.

Hunter: I'm nothing like that failure.

Hachi: We didn't fail. The entire school was reduced to ashes. Although more lives escaped than what was ment too. Still it's a minor setback.

Kane: Well, back to the drawing board I guess.

Hunter: Damnit!

Hachi: He's just a normal person like anybody else. His powers are long gone.

Hunter: He had help from YURI!!! She was the most strongest of SHDW. Now, she's past down her semblance to... him. "Hunter growls that last part. Kina grabs Hunter's hand which causes him to calm down a bit.

Hachi: Still, we've wounded them. Broke some of them.

Kane: Let's not forget Shadow. And that kid. Dante.

Hachi: Right, Kina said he was able to resist Kina's shadow semblance.

Hunter: Surprisingly. Must've suppressed all his positive emotions.

Hachi: Right, that was the only weakness Kina's semblance has. Let's not forget the Thief. Akira Murasami is almost as stubborn as his grandparents.

Hunter: Chikara and Noren. "Hunter mutters. Those were the names of Akira's grandparents. Chikara, Akira's grandmother and Noren, his grandfather. Kina looks away shamefully. Kane smiles and said.

Kane: Don't worry, Kina. We'll just have to create a better plan. More effective than Cinder's...

Hunter: I'm glad she's gone. Useless, her.

Kina: W-What now?

Hachi: We need more forces. Surely, we're strong yes, but Hunter needs time to master his Grimm form. Kina, you still need to recover, we'll meet in my lab for another check up later.

Kina: Okay~!

Kane: If we're talking forces... it'd be hard to find people with our same motives.
