"Her hearing can be fixed." she read the doctors lips. She was beyond thrilled. Stelle had no idea a thing like that could be possible. She grabbed on to her mother's hand and started to smile. The smile was a very big one. She almost squeled in excitement. Stelle then looked back at the doctor so he could finish what he was saying. "But it is very modern and it was discovered very recently, They have had equipment like this for people who have started to lose their hearing, but know they have them or people who are completely deaf. Though thankfully her condition is easy to fix, the thing is that it being so recent, will cost a very significant amount of money." This short statement shot a look of worry and dissapointment into the eyes of Stelle's mother. Stelle's family only consisted of Stelle and her mother. Her mother did work, but they were still very humble and didn't have the most amount of money. The were not poor, but they were not rich. "How much money exactly?" asked Stelle's mom. The doctor looked at his clipboard. The doctor frowned a slight bit. This doctor has been working with Stelle since the condition started, and he knew the situation her family was in. But sadly, medical plans don't cover this type of operation. The doctor sighed and said: " 30k dollars per ear." Stelles mom sighed as well. She very much knew that they didn't have the money to pay it. Stelle also read what he was saying. She shot a glare at her mother, and she knew that she couldn't.
