Once upon a time, there was a ginormous white huggable dog called Josephine, Jo for short. She lived with two little white dogs, called Muttley and Tom, and a tiny kitten called Vincent, Vinnie for short. They all lived happily together in a little white house with a kind lady called Mary.

Tom and Vinnie were the youngest in the household and had become best friends. At first, Tom wasn't sure he'd get on very well with a kitten. He thought they were too different to understand each other. But once they'd got to know each other, they loved each other even more because they weren't the same. It was much more fun.

Tom and Vinnie always talked, especially when they had a problem. They would share it and work out how to solve it together. It was a good feeling to work as a team. If they didn't know something, they would ask Jo. Jo seemed to know everything.
