Jace's POV:

"Antonio!"

"Yeah!?"

"How much does Cohn owe Zealand?"

"About $100,000, plus the interest fee."

"What about the other two dudes off coast!?"

  "Around the same amount."

    "Stupid mf!"

"Tell Quan to help control shipping today. I have a fked up feeling."

"On it!" Antonio replied.

As soon as Antonio left the girl from the night before came to mind.

I couldn't  believe Cohn did that to her. That's the type of guy he was. I messed around a lot, but I'd never propose to a woman I didn't love then leave her on her wedding day. That was some crazy shit he did.

I still couldn't  understand how someone like her could fall for someone like Cohn.

I stared out the window, wondering what to do. I wanted to help her, but I didn't want her to think I'd want something in return because I didn't

My phone pinged and took it up. It was a text from Cindy, one of the girls I was seeing. Her message wasn't important so I ignored it.

As soon as I closed her message,  Toni called me.

"Yo Jace! We found the lil punk who's been messing with our stuff. Mark has him over at the Docks." He said.

"Aite! I'll be there in a min. Don't beat him up til I get there." I told him.

"That's not a problem!" He said before ending the call.

I took a deep breath before standing to look out the window, my mind still on the girl.

I felt odd, I couldn't understand how I was thinking about her for so long. I felt like it was my duty to protect her, though we didn't even know each other.

I wanted to clear my head, so I decided to go deal with the unfinished business down at the docks.

I walked out my house and got in my car. I arrived at the docks and immediately recognized the cars parked out front.

After parking the car I walked out leaving the front door open.

I opened the door to the side and walked to the back room. As I opened the door to the back room, Toni walked up to me.

"This mfkrs been messing with us real bad. He's the one who got us in all this shit." Toni told me.

I looked over at the man cuffed to the chair.  I could see that  the boys beat him up real bad, though I told them not to.

Blood was everywhere. The thing I found interesting was that even though he was in pain and agony he still looks unfazed. I eyed him one more time before speaking.

"This nikka didn't do this alone. It takes more than one of these fkers to pull something like that off."

The man confirmed what I said by looking up at me with wide eyes. His tough expression changed to a worried one making me satisfied.
I look over at him again.

"I know you! You dat punk who robbed Macy's grocery store. I know exactly who you workin fo." I told him.

I knew by that time he'd gotten scared.

"You came here prepared to die. You came here thinking I'm gonna threaten your family. Sorry to burst yo bubble,  but I ain't dat type a nikka. I'm always  full of  surprises. Remember that!"
