Choices Of Play Is diamonds Really Important??

I have a big question  is diamonds super important to getting love interests?? Cause I started play choices after quitting as it's always hard to get diamonds they looked like change stuff but didn't think but  always I run into issue again   I always going up the issue again where I don't have any diamonds and I want to know if there so important to have diamonds to get a love interest if thats the cause that's stupid  they want to pay for diamonds
