Zae,Miss me? You should do, I am your best friend still, even if you have moved over fourthousand miles away from me.
Also, as your only friend and closest person to you, I need to know how you're holding up. Are you okay? Does it hurt? And if anyone points out your scar, just tell them that Adrian Richardson will be on his way to attack them. (If you don't want to do that then just tell them you fought a dragon and got a badass scar from it).
Anyway, I hope that nothing like that will happen. But. How's it going with your uncle and cousin? Your cousin goes to Hogwarts too doesn't he? Well, if I'm right (which I always am), then at least you'll have him to rely on. Just know that I'm going to be still at Ilvermorny, wishing you were here.
I will be lonely sat in the castle all alone, and I won't be the only one sad. You were a great Thunderbird, and now we've lost you, Zae. I just hope that you have a good time at Hogwarts and write to me every single day. Miss you lots.
Love,
AdrianAzalea tore her eyes away from the letter grasped in her hands, trying to hold back her tears. She really missed her best friend, and now she wouldn't get to see him much, if at all. The pair of them were inseparable- always doing absolutely everything together. They were both on the quidditch team for their house- Adrian as a chaser and she as the seeker- and would never be seen away from eachother. Even if one of them got detention, the other would always cause mischief so that they weren't alone. Adrian was Azalea's best friend, and only friend.
It wouldn't be the same without him, that was for sure. So as she sat in an empty compartment of the Hogwarts Express alone, her thoughts kept drifting back to the certian american boy who captured her friendship back in first year. He had always been there for her, especially after the accident, which had been haunting her nightmares for the past few weeks. And after the news of her leaving to go live with her uncle and cousin, she had broken. Azalea was losing everything- first her parents, then her school and then to top it all off, her best and only friend. And she couldn't even begin to think about her new condition.
She'd been affected during the accident, by something that had no cure. Azalea was dreading the first full moon at Hogwarts- it would be her first transformation too. Infact, she was worried more than anything. Having no idea what to expect, that's what scared her most of all. And she wouldn't even have Adrian by her side...
Azalea was snapped out of her thoughts when the compartment door flew open to reveal a student dressed in the school robes but with a blue tie. She immediately recognised it to be her cousin, so she sat up a little straighter and slid the letter from Adrian into her bag. Her cousin took the seat opposite her, before looking her in the eye seriously. She got a little nervous at this, especially as they weren't the closest of cousins. Sure, they got along, but they hadn't really seen eachother that much. Her cousin, Bran's, father, and her mother had been siblings. Therefore, when Azalea's mother married her father and she was born, she ultimately got a different surname to Bran. Bran was Bransen Alderidge, and she was Azalea Borghese.
