SUMMER'S POV

"Summer get up or you're going to be late for your first day back to school!" my mom shouted from downstairs, "I'm up mom! " I shouted back preparing to take a much-needed shower. When I was finished I dried my skin and finally put on my school uniform a plain white shirt, thigh-high royal blue, red and white checkered skirt, white knee-high socks and my royal blue and white Jordans 12s.

"Shit, I forgot to call Darcelle" I started looking for my phone. Found it and look for Darcelle's name and called her RING RING RING "Hey Summer, so you remembered to call?" She stated as the phone picked up make me laugh, " Yeah I'm wearing my royal blue and white Jordans 12s," I said in one breath and started panting after causing her to let oh a snicker "Okay! Well I'll wear mine as well but I'm going to wear white knee-high sock" I smiled " You know it see you in a little bye" I exclaimed "BYE!!" was all she said before hanging up That girl, I thought shaking my head ever so slightly. I put my phone in my skirt pocket and picked up my black Beats Headphones and my blue and black backpack and went downstairs to eat breakfast with my mom and sister.

"Good morning," I kissed the side of my mom's head and high-fived my sis "What's up sis how do you feel ready for your first day back to school?" she asks "No I hate to have to be someone I'm not your so lucky you don't have to pretend?" She looked up with an annoyed look answering with a slight irritation in her voice, "Yeah, that's because I'm in collage now I went through the same thing when I was in high school " our mom looked at us shaking her head while laughing at us. We talked, laughed and ate until it was time to go "Okay, come on Summer it's 8 let's get going" mom said walking out the front door I sigh picking up my things "bye sis have a good day at school" I shouted at her as I ran out the house so mom doesn't leave me.

I saw my mom sitting on the drive side of our black Coupé love this car I jump in the passenger's side "We can leave now" I smile at her has she send me death glares my way "Hurry woman or I'm going to be late" I said playfully. We sat in comfortable silence with the radio on I closed my eye's as my mom drove me to school. I felt someone shaking me I opened my eye's and saw my mom I guess I fell asleep "Were at your school hunny" I smiled at her and hugged her " See you later mom" she smile "Have fun" I got out the car and walk throw the school gate turned around and wave at her as she drives off. I turned back around and look at my school "Let's get this shit over with" I put my headphones on and walked in the school building looking for Darcelle.
