Chapter 3

Drew woke up to the smell of eggs and meat cooking. His stomach rumbled as he climbed out of bed to go investigate the delicious smell. He walked down the hallway that led to the exit and the kitchen it was dimly lit but still had enough light to see down to the end. Mars was standing next to a fire a kettle was hanging down from a iron hook and there was a griddle propped above the flames. On that griddle was eggs and bacon. "Good morning" Drew yawned while walking up to Mars. Mars smiled widely and said happily, "Glad to see you awake, where is Aries?" "Oh shoot I forgot to wake him up" Drew said embarrassed. Drew started to walk back down the hallway when Mars stopped him. "Maybe we should let him sleep, but do what you think is best." "He would sleep till noon if you let him he needs a little pressure to wake him up." Mars smiled and went back to cooking. When Drew reached the bedroom Aries was curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed. Drew walked over and gently shook his shoulder, "breakfast is cooking" Drew said sweetly as Aries opened his eyes.
