As the weird creature that supposedly was named Mars walked over to them they were stuck with fear. Was it friendly, did it want to kill them. They didn't want to take their chances. "Stay away" Drew yelled scooting away quickly pulling on Aries's sleeve. "I don't want to hurt you" Mars said this fangs hanging out of his mouth. "I just look scary like my brethren, speaking of my brethren I better get you hidden or they will come and hunt you down. Aries gave Drew a confused look then stood up and walked over to Mars. "Okay let's get hidden then can you explain some stuff to us please." Aries questioned. "I don't see why not, follow me," Mars said in a hushed tone. "oh and you want some help with that ankle" He asked Drew walking closer to him. He made a strange gesture with his hand and Drews ankle healed at an alarming rate the makeshift splint disappearing into thin air. "Woah!" Drew and Aries said in unison. Stunned they followed Mars to a dark cave in a hillside. Mars picked up a good sized branch, opened his mouth there was a hissing noise then a plume of fire shot out. With the torch in hand they made their way deeper into the darkness of the cave. Finally they reached a large opening. The floor turned from rock to a smooth wood. The walls were now a nice marble and there was a large bed with a slightly burnt blanket on top. Mars gestured over to a small table with four wooden chairs. As Drew and Aries took their seats there was a small spell of silence. To attempt to break the awkward Mars decided to ask "What were you going to ask me? I want to help you the most I can so you don't end up like the other humans that came down here."

Drew opened his mouth in a gasp " What happened to the other humans that came here, were ever here is?" Mars gave a guilty look and said in a very hushed tone "My brethren took them away from me and I don't know where they took them. They were two girls. Both blonde and skinny one named Sierra had gray eyes while the other named Echo had extremely dark brown eyes that appeared black. I do not feel that they are dead, I just wish I could find them, I loved them, it felt like they were my family. I shouldn't have let them go exploring without me." Tears started to build up in Mars's eyes. He quickly covered his face with his wings. "They were in love with each other it was the most adorable thing I ever saw. Together they would lay on their bed hugging each other and fall asleep together." Drew stared at Aries and took a deep breath, " We would be glad to help you find them." Aries quickly looked at Drew and mouthed, what the hell are thinking. Mars took his wings off his face slowly. In a shaky voice he began to speak "You really want to help me? T-thank you. You two must be hungry do you want anything. Cooked rabbit or anything?" Drew yawned, he wasn't hungry at all but Aries might be. As Drew looked over at Aries, he said "We would love to eat but we have eaten already we just kinda want to hit the hay, we didn't get much sleep last night and um, um can we just go to bed now." With I happy look on his face, Mars got up and in a cheerful voice he said "Here follow me I assume you want different beds." Blushing Drew looked at Aries and then said "If you don't mind we do want to sleep in the same bed." Mars looked back at them even more exited then before "That is exactly what Sierra said when I asked her. So are plans for tomorrow are to start the hunt right. So you two better get a good nights sleep. I'll show you your room." As Mars continued to walk down the dark hallway with the torch he walked into another room. The room had wooden walls and a soft woolen floor with a wooden bed with soft cotton sheets, and two feather pillows, and a mattress big enough for two people. Drew ran over and jumped onto the bed curling up into a ball. Aries walked over in a more mature manner sitting on the edge of the bed talking his shoes and shirt off and throwing them on the floor. After Aries did that he curled up with Drew.

Drew shot up sweating and panting Aries's arms still wrapped around him. He stared at Aries for a bit, he was so adorable when he is sleeping. Drew rubbed Aries's faded purple hair, then curled back up with him to sleep.

Aries ran away from the tall dragons chasing him he could feel the heat of their fire just behind him. Drew was just in front of him as he had a longer stride. Aries felt something slide past his foot but before he could react he heard Drew scream and he knew that they had got him two. A wave of emotion fell over Aries he fell onto his knees knowing to see Drew again, they had to take him too he felt something wrap around his chest. He wasn't scared he was calm and right before the wave of fire hit his face everything went black. He woke up in a dark room covered in sweat with Drew wrapped up in his arms. When he saw Drew's face he broke out into tears. He had just saw him die and was so relieved to see it was all a dream. But there was no way he was falling back asleep. As gently as he possibly could shook Drew's shoulders. With a slight moan he opened his eyes. "What do you want Aries I was asleep" he murmured with a tired tone. With tears still in his eyes he cried softly, "I just needed someone, you know I don't like showing my emotions but I just need to hug you to prove that this isn't a dream too." More tears started to pour down his face as he buried his face down into Drew's chest. As the warmth filled his body he felt Drew's arms wrap around his body as he slowly drifted back into a deep sleep.
