Natasha Romanoff was born as Natalia Romanova, in 1984. 

Natalia grew up as an orphan under the care of the KGB, never knowing who her parents were and later on in life finding out the name of her father from the last person she'd want to tell her.

When she turned 10, she had undergone intense training as a spy for the KGB under the close supervision of Madame B. 

She grew up spending most of her childhood and teenage years in the Red Room, a confidential programme which trained young girls to become the world's most dangerous and highly skilled spies.

Things were getting unbearable, starting with the long gruelling days of lessons and the daily shrieking of Madame B's voice.

Natalia purposely started failing which resulted in her forced sterilization, an event so traumatic and life-changing which led to her ultimately deciding to escape the Red Room.

But she's not alone.

Luckily, she escaped and managed to make a new name for herself, in another place far from home, a new life.

Nat became apart of a team, her family, with a bond so strong and a love so unconditional you wouldn't believe it.
