Chapter 2 Detention

Emma was panicking and was worrying about how the rest of her unpredictable day would go until, she noticed that there was no teacher in the room or children for that matter. She didn't think much of it. Emma just thought that the teacher was late and no children had gotten detention or even framed. The room was located on the other end of the school, where many people never walked past. The room was quite bare with just desks and a chalkboard. The only thing Emma noticed was a poster that said 'Keep on learning.' Oh how she hated that poster, no one even cared about their education besides Emma. Emma's life has been pretty decent, she travelled many places with her mother and loved exploring outdoors.

Emma had waited for ten minutes and still nothing happened. until she heard this weird sound. The sound echoed and thumped. It sounded like someone was walking in dirt or even in water, she thought it was children but would kids make a glowing light coming towards the detention window? Emma's curiosity took the best of her. She slowly and quietly walked up to the large window and peaked out to see what the glowing light was coming from. It was a glowing light literally, and as crazy as it sounds it look like it was trying to say something.

Emma couldn't open the window to get to the distressed looking light, so she look for the nearest and sharpest object in the room. After looking around for about a minute, Emma finally had found a pair of scissors. Emma grabbed the scissors and threw them at the window which came down with a Huge bang!

She leaped out of the broken window and ran to the bright light. It looked like it was trying to say something.

"What are you trying to say?" Emma said with a confused face.
"Do you want me to follow you?" Emma asked as if she were communicating with it.
The bright light nodded.

"Ok I'll follow you then" She said curious to know where he or she was taking her.

Emma was following the glowing light for about ten or fifteen minutes now and she didn't know where they were, until they came across a huge cave. The light stopped.

"Is this were you wanted to bring me" Emma said as if she thought it was bringing her to Buckingham Palace.
The light nudged her into the dark and rocky cave. Emma stumbled forward and glanced at the enormous cave.

"You want me to go in here?" Emma asked in discuss.
The light nodded and again nudged her into the cave. Emma walked into the cave when she then saw a oddly placed door in the middle of the cave, she opened the door but all she saw was blue and white mixed together which kinda blurred into a sky.

And suddenly Emma was pushed and she was just falling in what she thought was another world. Emma landed in water, hit her head quite hard and had been knocked out.

Emma woke up in some sort of coral house, she looked around and all Emma saw was a bed, a kitchen and a closet.Emma look at herself and realised she was a mermaid!

"Oh no! I'm a mermaid?! No this can't be happening" Emma said in a worried manner.

"Ariel come down here now!" Exclaimed and unfamiliar voice.

"Coming!" Emma replied.

"Oh no! I'm not just a mermaid, I'm in a fairy tale!" Emma said in a panicking voice.
