Waking up with the sun rays on your face is mostly hated by people. But for Abal it was one of the best feelings. She slowly stood up from the supine position and went towards her favourite spot in her room. She looked outside the wall length window from where she could see the gardeners watering the plants. She loved the garden of this home. Almost every kind of flower was present there.
She turned around and went out of her room to Huzaifa's room. She knocked on the door and as always he didn't open it. She knew that he's in the shower right now. Without any further delay, she entered his room and examined her surroundings.
She sauntered towards the window and moved both the curtains in the opposite direction to let the sunlight bath his room. She turned around and made his bed, something she has been doing for the last 3 years. She didn't bother to clean his study table because she knew that he hates it when someone other than him organises it. That's why it was that's messy. She turned on her heels and walked towards his walk in closet to decide his suit of the day. Abal was busy looking through his clothes when she heard him clearing his throat.
She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice the absence of the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. With her lower lip tucked under her front two teeth, she slowly turned around to look at him. She immediately gasped and covered her eyes with both her hands, right over left. There he was standing in front of her only in his grey sweatpants and a white towel hung around his shoulders.
Fortunately or unfortunately, she got a chance to look at his pectorals and abs for the first time. That's why she covered her eyes as soon as possible. She positioned her hands in such a way so that she could cover her pink cheeks from his gaze.
'Astaghfirullah Abal. What were you looking at?' - a part of her mind said.
'Come on Abal! He's your husband. You can look at him' - another part argued.
"What are you doing here?", he questioned.
"I came to arrange your room and take out your clothes.", she replied timidly with her eyes still covered.
"Why do you do it? I've told you a million times to refrain from coming into my room, but do you listen to anyone? God! You're so annoying! I'm now tired of lecturing you on the same thing again and again. Please leave."
