A's P.O.V

As we walked out of Holts office Gina gave me a thumbs up which caused me to lightly smile and shake my head. "So," Diaz spoke in her usual monotone voice "This will be your desk." and that was it. She just sat down at her desk and started writing something up on her computer. I Placed my bag down next to my chair and sat down. "What to do now?" I thought to myself. I plugged in my earphones and turned up the volume. I began tapping my desk lightly along to the drum solo when I felt a presence next to me. I turned to the other person to be greeted by Santiago. I saw she was saying something so i removed one earphone . "I never got a chance to formally introduce myself, I'm Amy Santiago," she smiled, thrusting a hand out to me to shake. "I'm A" I replied, shaking her hand impressed by her firm handshake. "Wait... just A?" she asked, giving me a weird look. I just gave her a small nod back "Well I can't wait to work with you in this case, Holt obviously thinks highly of you." Damn this girl is so happy and persistent. Once again replied with a small nod and tight-lipped smile. "Okay.... well we have a meeting in the briefing room in 10 minutes, Holt wants you to attend" with that she smiled and walked off. I turned back to my desk and looked over at Diaz as she quickly looked away. "Nice music choice." she mumbled. I furrowed my brows in confusion before realising she could probably hear the music from my discarded earphone. "Thanks" i replied with a slight smile gracing my lips and putting in my other earphone. What I didn't realise is one also graced hers.
