Founded in 2009 by Makayla Griffin, the Sports Writing Academy has become one of the most exclusive writing schools in the country.

If you want a chance to go to this Academy, please fill out the form on the school website. A selection committee member will be in contact with you if you were chosen to have an interview. This was part of a letter that was sent to hundreds of thousands of future writers across the country. Maggie Peterson and Kimberly Jones both received this letter. They later submitted their applications.
