I read it says ‘’stay in your house keep the door locked grab a weapon and stay put’’ I freak out what about mom and dad. I hold back crying I turn on the news. it was talking about these zombies. I freaked out when I saw my mom and dad's car surrounded by em I started crying. It said there was a shelter nearby I decided to go there. I grab a bookbag put some food in it grab my dad's Glock and a baseball bat. What if it wasn't their vehicle I live in the middle of nowhere a shootout happened earlier today right in front of my house. I walk outside and start walking I say ‘’im only 13’’. I see one of those things and I shoot it. I start to cry. That was a person at some point. A squad car drives past me.
