Long Lost And Found

Chapter 15

Okay bare with me here people, this is gonna be a rough chapter for details....

Ultron's robots are flying everywhere and attacking the Avengers. What was a fun night went sideways very, very fast. One comes straight at Steve and I, he flips the coffee table, the robot flies into it and we both get launched backwards. Thor is hitting them with Mjolnir. Tony and Rhodey go to get their suits. One makes a move at Clint and he gets sent through a bookcase. One hits Rhodey. That's the last straw for me. I use my powers and rip it in half. (Like how Wanda does later in the movie). I look up to see Thor launch himself at one on the upper level of the living room.  I can hear Maria shout to Rhodey in the background. Bruce and Natasha get shot at as they both slide across the top of the bar and then on the floor behind it for cover. One attemps to fly away and I use my powers to grab it. 

"Thor!" I yell and he turns to me, I launch the robot to him and he crushed it with his hammer. The next bot I see is heading towards Helen, I grab it with my powers in my left hand and throw it into the wall, it lays there in pieces. 

"Are you okay?" I ask her, She shakes her head yes still in shock. I'm not sure if she's in shock with seeing my powers or almost getting killed by a murder bot, or both. Clint grabs Steve's shield and throws it to him, Steve then throws his shield at the robot, as the bot falls Thor crushed it with his hammer. One of the bots grabs the scepter and heads for the window, I try to stop it but it blasts me across the room. I then proceed to rip it to shreds with my powers. These bots fucked with the wrong girl at the wrong time. Now it's just Ultron left. 

"That was dramatic, I'm sorry I know you mean well. I just didn't think it through." Ultron says. Steve angrily approaches him breathing heavily.

"You wanna protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is it that it can be saved if it's not meant to evolve. With these? These puppets, there is only one path to peace." Ultron says as he picks up of the destroyed bots. God does this guy ever shut up. Thor comes to my side and helps me off the floor. Clint walks up next to me and grabs my other arm as I almost pass out. I see a gash in my side that is oozing some blood. "The Avengers extinction." Ultron finished. Thor gets pissed and lets go of me and throws his hammer at Ultron. He crumbles to the floor in pieces. 

"I had strings but now I'm free." Ultron says before it or he "dies". I look to Clint who still has a firm grip on my arm so I don' fall over. I love him like a big bother. I go to walk over to Natasha to make sure she's okay. I stumble and almost fall to the floor. Clint grabs my arm again, "Okay, take it easy Ali." Clint says as he helps me up again, Natasha comes to my side too.

"Ali? Are you okay?" She asks me. I blink for a few seconds, all eyes on me. "No." I whisper. then I black out. I can feel someone pick me up and carry me, I think it's Thor. I can smell his shampoo. I love him too, he's my best friend. He sets me down on a chair, thankfully I regained consciousness. He looks me in the eyes and starts to tend to my wounds. The one on my side he just wraps up for me, then he leaves. Clint takes over and is cleaning the small cut on my head from all the shattered glass. 

Bruce starts talking about something but I'm still a little light headed. "He's been in everything, files, surveillance. He probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha says. 

"You guys aren't even a little concerned about what we just saw out there from one of our own? Ali, how the hell can you do that and why didn't you say anything to us about that." Tony says.

"Loki's scepter, that's how this happened, and I didn't tell you guys cause I was scared." I rely to him.

"Scared, a master assassin is scared, wow that's a first." Tony says back to me with some sass.

"Yeah, Tony. I was scared. Scared about what you all would think, scared that you guys would kick me out on the streets to fend for myself. I've been there and I can't go back. Believe it or not Tony I'm not some cold heartless bitch." I say back to him.  Everyone just stares at me. They all saw what I did. How could I think that they would still think of me as the same old Ali.

"Look, Ali, you've been through a lot lately, I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you. Were all just a little tense right now." Tony apologizes. 

"It's okay. I get it. Trust me I do." I say back to him. Everyone goes back to thinking about what Ultron is going to do. Rhodey starts talking, Maria chimes in too. Then Natasha, then Steve, then Clint, then back to Maria again. Tony then puts up a holographic image of something orange with some blue in it. I've seen it before. 

"Jarvis." I say and everyone looks at me. "That's who Ultron meant, he meant he killed Jarvis." I say and Tony agrees with me. 

"This is insane." Bruce says.

"Jarvis was the first line of defense." Steve says. 

Thor then comes storming in in his battle armor and lifts Tony off the ground by his neck.

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor says.

"Thor!" Steve and I say at the same time. "Put him down." I finished for Steve and I. Thor puts him down and Tony stumbles back a bit. 

"Trail went cold about 100 miles headed north. And it has the scepter. Now we have to retrieve it again." Thor says.

"The genie's out of that bottle, clear and present as Ultron." Natasha says.

"I don't get it," Helen says. "You built this program, why is it trying to kill us?" She asks Tony. He starts to laugh.

"You think this is funny." Thor states. 

"No? It's probably not. Right? This is very terrible. Is it so, is it so? It is it's so terrible." Tony says.

"This all could have been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't-" Thor gets cut off by Tony.

"No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It is funny. It is a hoot that you don't get why we needs this." Tony says to Thor.

"Tony maybe this might not be the time." Bruce says.

"Really?" Tony says. "That's it? you just roll over show your belly every time somebody snarls." Tony says to Bruce.

"Only when I've created a murder bot." Bruce says back to Tony.

"You didn't, weren't even close, were we even close to an interface?" Tony asks knowing the answer and Bruce shakes his head in a "Yeah we were bitch" kinda way. 

"Well ya did something right. And ya did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to  be different than S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve says.

"Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?" Tony says.

"No never came up" Rhodey says in a "I'm done with your bullshit right now" kinda way. 

"Recall that? A hostile alien attack came charging through a hole in space, were standing 300 feel below it. Were the Avengers, we can bust arms dealers all the live long day, but that up there, that's the endgame." Tony says. (LITTLE DID YOU KNOW TONY, LITTLE DID YOU KNOW YOU JUST NAMED THE BEST FILM EVER!) "How are you guys planning on beating that?" He finished.

"Together." Steve says firmly.

"We'll loose." Tony counters.

"Then we'll do that together too."
