In a Lunchroom: "Man, I'm so hungry! I'm starving!"

Back of an Alley: "Momma, I'm so hungry," he whispers sleepily. "I'm starving..." he closes his eyes, and he doesn't wake up.

1.) I am thankful for food.

Parkinglot: "Unlock the door!" She yells and the man inside pops open the lock. She gets inside and rubs her hands in front of the heater. She is wearing a thick coat, and she is still cold. "It's aweful out! Let's go home so I can have some hot chocolate!" She smiles and they drive away.

Outside: She holds her body with her arms. She is walking down the street, the wind blowing right through her dirty T-shirt. Her eyes are wattering, and she falls over. "Someone help me..." She said then she looses all sensation of her body. She is numb and lets the cold takes her.

2.) I am thankful for clothes and shelter.

Aunt Stephie's House: The teen boy smiles awkwardly around his cousins and aunts. he only sees them twice a year and it's still awkward every time. He bears through the polite conversation and smiles. He can't 'till he gets home and can watch some TV.

Empty Living Room: The man cries in front of the TV. He does have family. He doesn't have friends. There is no one for him to talk to. He is alone. Suddenly, he stops crying. He knows it's now or never. He walks to the closet and opens the door. He sees that it's empty, except for a single rope formed into a loop. He puts his head inside.....

3.) I am thankful for people who love me, family or not.

Bedroom: she coughs and covers her mouth. Her mother gives her cough syrup and that makes her feel better, she manages to get to sleep.

Hospital: He coughs all night. They have to give him another dose of morphine. everytime he coughs, the pain makes him cry. then, he throws up on his sheets. the vomit is bloody and the doctors run and surround him.

4.) I am thankful for my health.

There are many other things I am thankful for. Some people aren't lucky enough to be thankful for "their X-box" or "my boyfriend," or even "my besties <3" It's okay to be thankful for those things, but just keep in mind. You, if you are reading this, are ALIVE. YOU are living in this world, no matter who you are, you should be thankful.

love, peace, joy and happiness, -Loloanonymous <3
