"Hey, uh.." Taro called Osana. "Are you, going to meet up with Raibaru?" He asked. "Why do you care, senpai? And yes, yes we will. Idiot..." Osana answered, keeping her chin up.

They were nearing the gates of Akademi. Raibaru was waving enthusiastically to both of them. Osana's sour mood lifted seeing Raibaru, returning her enthusiastic greeting.

Taro frowned as he fell behind Osana. Why was Osana more... friendly-er to Raibaru? He was THE childhood friend... right? Taro sighed. Was he not enough? Where did he fall short? Was it the books, classical music-- "Hey! Taro!" Osana called, pulling him out of his thoughts.

Taro lifted his head slightly, looking at Osana. "There's this new movie I wanna see...  I already bought two ticket." She paused, looking flustered. "A-and Raibaru doesn't wanna watch it with me..," Osana played with one of her pigtails. Taro raised his eyebrows, motioning her to continue.

"S-so c-can you go with me instead?! Don't think about anything weird, senpai! " Osana requested (hint: yelled at) him, her voice raised, even though they were barely three feet apart.

Taro mentally checked his schedule.  "Yeah, sure, I'll see what I can do" He replied, a smile tugging at his lips. 'Well, I haven't hung out with Osana in a while. I'm sure it'll be fun."

"G-great! I mean- yeah, sure." She smiles brightly. "J-just don't be late alright?!" Osana added, resting her hands on her hips.

"When am I ever late to something?" He asked quizzically, half as a remark, half-puzzled.

"Every damn time, is when."  She scoffs under her breath. Osana rolling her eyes was what Taro had gotten as a reply before Osana turned her back on him and ran to Raibaru. Taro sputters, cheeks turning pink. 'No, he's never late, thank you, Osana was just... Stupidly early!'

Taro sighed for the umpteenth time this morning, pulled out the current book he was reading, and walked into the gates of Akademi.

[Budo's p.o.v.] [7:20]

After gathering most of his club mates (friends), they walked to school.

"Hey, Budo-senpai?" Shima Shita asked. Budo, who was thinking of  Taro, and the whole encounter earlier, was pulled out from his thoughts once again. "Yeah?" He asks her back.

"You seem awfully quiet this morning." She pointed out. "Something happened?" She asks him back.

Budo blinked before chuckling. The rest of the group, who were just walking with them, looked at Budo as if he were crazy. Which he is. He definitely looks like it.

"Oh, y'know." He shrugged, facing Shima while walking. Mina, who was beside Shima the whole conversation, furrowed her brows.

Budo felt like a drenched cat, embarrassment colouring his cheeks. He clears his throat, mumbling incoherently.

They were nearing the gate of the school.

"Well?" Mina said, telling Budo to continue.

"I just... Bumped into someone, s'all." He said, his cracky voice barely above a whisper.

Shima looked at Mina, 'definitely weird.' She mouthed. Mina giggled and shook her head.

"It's nothing! Don't- don't worry about it" He stammers out, suddenly aware of how out-of-character he is.

Juku Ren simply laughed at him and Sho Kunin just shrugged, before taking out his phone.

[Taro's P.o.v]

Taro wandered around the halls, his inside shoes dragging lazily on the floor.

His bag was already on his chair, back in the room
3-1. The latest book he was reading was held *also* lazily.

He didn't want to go to the fountain, groups were giggling and chattering amongst themselves. They reminded him of the chattering order.

'The chattering order.' He smiles to himself, the satanic nuns? Who talks about what's on their mind? Near enough.

Taro sighed, he felt guilty. Not that Sister Mary Loquacious hadn't made a great life after- He felt bad for comparing the people he saw every day to bizarre people that were completely fictional.

He then shook his thoughts away, he was too caught up in different books, than... Reality. Not that it was entirely bad, it was just so ordinary, so bland, so... So average.

He sighed, once again pulling himself away from his thoughts. "Where can I go then? If not the fountain... the rooftop? I bet the sun would still be nice.." He thought out loud.

He shrugged and went to the rooftop, whistling tunelessly.

[7:50]

Taro felt a small breeze pull him out of his thoughts. He looked at the rooftop doors, stepping on occasional petals that were placed gingerly on his path.

As he was expecting, the sun was quite nice. It gave a warm light, making the cherry blossoms look as animated as they could be.

'Huh,' He thinks. The blooming cherry blossom stayed longer this year, nearly four weeks. Usually, it lasted a week or so.

He leaned on the railings, looking at the other students, who were traveling in loud groups, or alone.

He began reading, holding the book tightly. He feared if he became too careless holding the book, he might accidentally hit someone and cause a concussion.

The bookworm chuckled at the thought, he knew the maths and the chances of that happening were low, but you can never be too sure, right?

But then again, he was holding a hardcover book so, the chances, however low they were, were a bit higher than that of a normal book.

I mean he's caused enough trouble, I mean with Budo, and comparing the giggling girls earlier to the chattering order ('it's really no big deal'), He thinks it's enough trouble for the day.

He blinked and tried to focus on the book he was reading. It was an autobiography of a western marine artist, making a living out of painting murals and saving whales by it.

'Maybe I can visit his mural here in Japan, y'know, when there's time for me to do so.' He thought, making plans.

After reading a few pages of his book, he decided it was best if he read his book inside the classroom, for if the teacher had gone inside the classroom earlier, he wouldn't be late.

He then decided to leave the rooftop, the sun was getting more persistent anyway.

While going down a flight of stairs, he encountered a peculiar student, Oka Ruto, wasn't it? The second-year that was the leader of the occult club.

He waved at her, "Good morning." He greeted with a nod.

Oka then panicked internally, shifting her gaze from taro to the plant nearby. She then muttered a breathless "Good morning." Before running away with pink cheeks.

Taro blinked. Did he... do something wrong? He doesn't know. He shrugged it off, and walked towards his classroom, not knowing someone was now following him.
