Mitch x Reader

It was a shock to you, seeing that Mitch took such a liking to you when you first met. He was always super cautious about people he didn't know, but you were the one who opened him up. Everyone in the school could see it during your third day staying at Ericson's. He was always staring at you in awe at how amazing you were.

Whether it had to do with your fighting skills, the way your face lit up when you were excited over something good happening, when you were passionate about something you loved to do or your sweet laugh, or when you were simply just sitting by yourself and doing chores, he admired you in every way.

*Time Skip to the night of Brody and Marlon's fight

"Where's Clementine?!" AJ had his gun pointed at Marlon with all of the other kids gathering around in fear and slight panic and Louis trying to convince him to put the gun down and that shooting him wasn't necessary.

"AJ? Put the gun down."

"Get this fucking psycho away from me!" Marlon yelled.

"Where is she?!!" AJ yelled moving closer towards Marlon.

"S-she's in the basement. She murdered Brody!" Marlon replied.

Y/n's POV

I didn't believe Marlon. Clementine couldn't have been the one to do this. She wouldn't do something like that.

Is that blood on your face?" Mitch asked.

As the kids were asking Marlon scattered questions about what happened to Brody, Clementine confronted him,"Hey Marlon! You might wanna get your story straight."

"Clem!" AJ exclaimed as Clementine started making her way through the group to confront Marlon.

"You killed Brody. You hit her so hard, her head split open."

"That's a lie. I saw you kill her!"Marlon fought back."Look at her hands. She's covered in Brody's blood."

I looked at Clementine's hands and saw that they were in fact covered in blood. But I still thought there was more to this. I didn't want to jump to conclusions without hearing both sides of the story. That was my way of seeing through situations like this.

Aasim:"Jesus Christ,Clem."

Tenn:"What did you do?"

AJ was looking at Clem distracted which Marlon noticed giving him time to take the gun from AJ and shove him to the ground. Marlon raised the gun and we all backed up in fear. Rosie was only a few feet away barking and Louis and I helped AJ up. We were all visibly frightened. Marlon could kill any of us at any time.

Marlon raised the gun and had it aimed at the group but more specifically Clementine. "We saved their lives when anybody else would have kept walking. We fed them, kept them warm and this is how they thank us. Guns being pulled and murder. Well Fuck Them!"Marlon yelled keeping aim on Clementine.

"You kill me and what do you offer to your raider friends when they come knocking?"Clem yelled back.

"What is she talking about?" Aasim asked

"Brody told me Marlon was gonna give me and AJ up to raiders in exchange for safety, the same way he gave up Sophie and Minnie". Clem explained.

I was horrified. Was this true?

Ruby:"Oh my gosh!"

"Shut the fuck up Clementine!" Marlon yelled angrier than before

Aasim:"Let her talk!"
