"So, Emma," Xander began. "Tonight's our 50th date."
"And tonight's our 20th," Griff added, giving me a cheeky grin.
"And to celebrate, we're taking you guys to the old lighthouse!"
Emma gasped. "You mean that 5 star seafood restaurant where every oyster comes with a pearl necklace?"
Xander scoffed. "No. It's an actual old lighthouse."
I raised an eyebrow. "And How is that romantic?"
"Cute picnic up there would be awesome," Griff explained. "You know..."
I felt a blush creep up to my cheeks. "Oh...yeah."
"I wanted it to just be you and me but—"
Xander cut off Griff. "There is no way Emma and I would've let you two go up that old lighthouse alone."
Emma nodded as Lou set her Lunch down before sitting down herself.
"Hey, Lou!" Xander greeted. "How's your date go?"
"It stunk," Lou said. "Even worse than this mole."
I shook my head. "You misread the menu, that's just mole."
"Oh, in that case, it smells pretty good," Lou noted.
"So What was so bad about this guy?" Emma asked.
Lou clicked her tongue. "He was a wimp, like all the guys now. What happened to the manly men of old times?"
"I think they're all dead," Emma said.
I rolled my eyes as Griff spoke. "We still have some manly dudes. Like uh...me."
I laughed. "Yeah, like my guy. And Emma's!"
Xander nodded. "Honey, can you pass me my hand cream?" Emma, Lou, and I sent each other a glance. "Hey! Even tough guys need to moisturize."

"Man, this place is great!" Xander chuckled.
"It'd be even greater if it wasn't so high up," I whimpered, clutching onto Griff. "How did I forget that lighthouse's are so tall?"
Griff patted my head. "You'll be fine! It's perfect for our dates."
"It's so romantic," Emma gushed. "The sky, the view..."
"The Lou," Lou added, popping up from the stairs. "Thanks, again. For letting me tag along. Since I'm...you know, single."
I finally let go of Griff once he began to make his was toward the windows. I can't ruin this date because of my dumb fear of heights.
