Holly
I woke up in this weird dark place, still cold from the Frost giant from before. I was laying on a hard rock that frosted underneath of me. I looked down at my hands and I could see through them. It's another nightmare... I looked around to try and find out where I was but it was just rocks. I wandered for awhile before eventually I heard a light tapping sound. I poked my head around a large boulder and saw a woman boredly tapping on the ground beside her. I was going to say something to her when suddenly-
I opened my eyes and I was cold again. I panicked as I felt a tube in my throat. I sarted trying to yank it out but cold hands stopped me.
"Holly, wait for the doctors, please" I panicked more at the sight of a blue face with red eyes.
"Holly, relax!" I turned to Bruce and stopped flailing before turning back only to see Loki. Bruce took the tube out of my mouth and I started coughing. "I'll be right across the hall" Bruce excused himself after checking me with a stethoscope just as a strange man in a weird costume walked in.
"What's going on?" I looked at Loki but the man in the costume answered before he could.
"I'm Dr Stephen Strange and I'm here to talk to you. You've been projecting your astral body across space" I shrunk in my bed and tried to make myself smaller.
"I'm sorry... Zhè shì yīcì yìwài... (It was an accident...)" I felt a lump in my throat and tried not to cry. I don't wanna get in trouble...
"You're not in trouble. We just need to know what's happening and how to stop it" Loki smiled at me and rubbed my knee to comfort me.
"Did anything happen just before you started having your 'nightmares'?" I looked away thinking about my answer.
"...I learned how to read"
"I doubt that caused it" Loki closed his eyes and sighed.
"I... may have taught her how to read my spell books" why does Loki look sad? Is he gonna get in trouble for showing me his books?
"That... probably caused it. Do you remember reading anything about astral projection?" Stephen looked at me again and I shrunk further into the bed.
"There was a book about fairies that said something about an astral plane?" they used it to trick people into thinking they were in different places.
"That doesn't explain how she projected all the way to Neflihelm, a planet she's never even heard of, or how she was physically injured" Loki started using big words I don't really know but Stephen looked like he understood it.
"Her physical and astral bodies could have acted as a link-"
"Am I gonna die?" none of what they were saying makes any sense and I don't know what's going on...
"No, no no no no, you're not going to die-"
"Well you were dead for 20 minutes" my eyes widened.
"Stephen!"
"What? Medically speaking she was dead. She had no vitals" tears started to fall down my face and my lip shook before I started crying loudly.
