14. Finding Out The Gender

Today me and Namjoon are going to the hospital for my 16 week scan. I'm four months on in my pregnancy. We should find out the gender of our child today. Well that's if they can tell from the scan. We would like to know if they can tell. Namjoon and I obviously wouldn't mind if we had a boy or a girl. Either would be a blessing to us. We arrive at the hospital just before our appointment. We check in and take a seat in the waiting area. "This is so exciting, jagiya. I can't wait to find out the gender of our little one" he said grasping my hand. "Yep me too. I'm so excited" I smile. He smiles and kisses me. Soon we get called into the room for our appointment. We get greeted by the lady and I lay down on the bed and roll up my top and she puts the gel on and begins to look. Namjoon sits beside me and touches my hand. "So would you like to know the gender?" she asks. "Yes please" I reply. "We would love to" he replies. There then was a long pause. "You are having a baby boy. Congratulations" the lady said. "Yay! A boy. I've always wanted a son" Namjoon said. "Yessss I'm so happy. I've always wanted a son too" I reply. "Ahhhh this is amazing" he exclaims. So Namjoon and I leave the hospital feeling delighted that we are having a baby boy. Can't wait

Hoseok 💜

Hoseok and I are going to the hospital this morning for my next scan. We can't wait to find out the gender of our baby. Well that's if they can tell from the scan. If not it's okay. We'll just find out another time. We have an appointment around 9:30am. We wake up a couple of hours before as we are excited for our scan. We leave just in time for our appointment in a cab. "Can't wait, babe to find out" Hoseok says. "Yep me too. It's so special to find out the gender of your first child" I reply. "It is" I reply. Soon we arrive at the hospital. We go in and check in and wait in the waiting room to be called in. "So what do you think it's gonna be?" Hoseok asks. "I don't know. I couldn't possibly guess" I reply. "I wouldn't mind what the gender is but I've always wanted a little girl as I've told you before" I reply. "Awe, Hobi" I say squishing his nose. Soon we get called into the room for our appointment. "Ohhh this is it" he exclaims. "I know" I reply. "You must be Mrs Jung" the lady said. "Yes I am and this is my husband Hoseok" I reply. "Ah you're J-Hope from BTS. Aren't you" she said. "Yes that's correct, mam" Hoseok replies. "My daughter is a big fan. I'm Gloria. Take a seat" she said. I lay on the bed and she starts examining me. "Everything is looking great. Your baby is looking healthy and has a strong heartbeat" Gloria said. "That's great" I reply. "Would you like to know the gender yet?" she asks. "Yes please" I reply. "Oh yeah" Hoseok said. "Well I am pleased to tell you that you are having a little girl" Gloria said. "Yes we are having a baby girl" Hoseok said. "We are. I'm so happy" I reply. He leans over and kisses me. Hoseok and I were reeling from the news that we are having a baby girl. We are both so happy. We both wanted a girl the most

Jin 💙

Jin and I went to the hospital this morning for my four month scan and we found out the gender of our baby. And we are having a.......baby boy. We were so happy to find out it was a boy as we hoped for a little boy. We already have a little girl now we are going to have a little girl and I little boy. We've been so happy all day. We are going to tell Jiyeon tonight that he's going to have a little brother. We want to tell her in a special way. She really can't wait to be a big sister. We got home from the hospital earlier but Jiyeon was a nursery and we picked her up not so long ago. We will probably find a time to tell her after dinner. Not that she'll know where we've been today but she'll want to know the gender of her new sibling. Jin is making dinner for us right now. Me and Jiyeon are sat watching TV. Jin is making one of our favourite Korean dishes tonight. Something separate for Jiyeon as she doesn't usually eat what we have. Dinner was ready soon we Jin serves it up and we sit at the kitchen table and eat it. We had a nice dinner when we tidy up. When we've done that we all go into the lounge and sit as a family on the couch. "Princess, do you wanna hear something good?" Jin said. "Yeah. You bet" Jiyeon replies. "Well you're going to be a big sister. Are you? Do you want to know if you're having a little brother or sister?" I say. "Yes yes" she exclaims. "Daddy will tell you" I say. "Jiyeon, my angel. You are going to have a little brother" Jin said. "Yay! A baby brother" she cheers. "Yes you're going to have a little brother" he said. "You are indeed" I reply. Jiyeon cheers and hugs us both. I think it's safe to say that she's very happy about having a little brother. So are Jin and I
