Lieutenant Hank Anderson rushed into the police station in a frantic search. He jogged his way to the main area of the station where his desk was and immediately calmed when he saw Connor sitting and working silently at his desk. Hank could finally breathe again as a heavy weight was lifted from his chest. He cleared his throat, straightened his shirt and made his way over to the pair of desks him and his partner called their work station.

"Morning lieutenant." The android said without looking up from his computer.

"What the hell, Connor?!" Hank shouted back.

This piqued Connors attention and he turned to face Hank. "You seem distressed."

"Damn right! I woke up and you were gone. What the fuck?! I didn't know what had happened." Hank crossed his arms, almost embarrassed about how much he worried.

"Well, I actually follow the work schecdule so I arrived on time. I hadn't been alerted of anything important so I figured it would fine if I just went ahead and came down to the station. My apologies." Connor explained.

"Well, just next time leave a note or something. It's a little unsettling when I find your room empty with no explanation." Hank sighed and flopped down in the chair in front of his desk, which was right across from Connors.

After the Android Revolution, Connor had decided to stay as a detective. Hank was rather glad that Connor decided to stay. The only problem was that the poor kid didn't really have anywhere to go after hours, so Hank opened his house to Connor who awkwardly accepted the offer. They had been living together for about a month and everyday the city of Detroit became closer to being done with repairing the damage that came along with the Revolution.

"How'd you even get here?" Hank asked, still thinking about the fact that Connor left without him.

"I took a taxi."

"Right." Hank murmured under his breath.

Connor returned to minding his own business, typing away on his computer. Hank enjoyed having the android around, he really did. Even though Connor pissed him off sometimes, he helped fill the void that was left after what happened to Cole.

The only sound in the room was the artificial ticking noise coming from one of the many digital clocks. When Hank looked up from his desk he saw Connor staring straight ahead while the little light on the side of his temple blinked an off-putting yellow.

Connor's eyes blinked and he snapped back to reality. "Crime scene. 1514 Speckle Lane. Another android attack."

Hank jumped up from his desk and made a dash for the door with Connor on his heels. The pair hopped into Hank's car with Connor behind the wheel. Connor flicked on the siren and backed out of the parking lot, then proceeded to speed down the road.

"Our killer sure is a busy bee. This is the fourth attack in like, a month and a half?" Hank chuckled.

"Seems to be. I just don't understand why this is still happening. I thought androids were supposed to have equal rights." Connor scoffed.

"Yeah well, you know humans can't be bothered unless another human is killed. It's a fucking miracle we managed to connect those two previously dead androids to this." Hank rolled his eyes, and went to pick the remains of some food out of the scruff on his chin.

"Two androids, both shot in the head. Then an android and it's person, shot in the head. Now, an android, a mother and a child.-"

"Shot in the head?" Hank interrupted.

"Yeah."

"You know what this is, right?" Hank asked.

Connor just shook his head and sent the car speeding around a corner.
