"So Hayden Rose are you going to tell me what your writing?" Callen asked me after class. "Depends ." I said as I made my way down the hallway with my chair Callen walking along me. "On what?" he asked . "Can I ask what the quote on wrist your means." "Sure I've got nothing to hide." Callen said casually. "I want to hear about you first."
"Why are you so interested in what I've been writing?" I asked him. My curiosity getting the better of me. "It must be interesting if you rarely talk to anyone and if you closed it when I started talking to you." Callen stated simply. "I like to observe other people and write about them although lately my entries have been more about myself." I admitted. "I want to be a writer after high school." "That's so cool." Callen said. "I didn't know if it was ok to ask this because I didn't want to offend you , but what happened? he asked hesitantly.
"What do you mean?" I asked, unsure what he meant at first. Then I remembered my wheelchair. "Nothing happened I have cerebral palsy." I explained. "What's that?" Callen asked. It's caused by a brain injury that happens either during pregnancy or birth." "Basically my brain can't tell my legs to work right." "It causes me to spasm sometimes I've accidentally hit people before." I said.
I found myself wondering why I was telling him all of this. I never told anyone this much about myself. "What about you." I asked, changing the subject.
