Taehyung's pov.

I opened my eyes slightly due to the emptiness besides me.

"W-what-"

My cracking voice stopped immediately as my throat didn't felt like forcing itself this early.

I stretched my arms and legs smiling as the sun kissed the white clean sheets.

I looked at my right to see a paper.

"Good morning baby bear, you were looking so peaceful I didn't had the heart to wake you up ㅜ-ㅜ. By the way what's in the box above the fridge?"

I smiled and giggled at his cuteness as my brows frowned at the last question.

Box?

I put on a pair of underwear and dressed an oversized baby blue sweater with black tight pants as I headed to the kitchen.

"Guys!"

No one responded...

I though maybe they were sleeping so I ignored the silence and looked in front of me where the fridge was to see a magenta box with a white ribbon.

I smiled and opened it to see a beautiful silver bracelet and another paper with a wider writing.

"I'm sure you remember these bracelets, I saw how you tried to purchase them online, so I thought you would like the original ones, I have the other one on my hand right now, so they are matching"

I smiled wider and put the bracelet on moving the hand to see the object shine.

I moved forward to the living room to sit on the couch when I saw Yeontan come my way.

Since he was my parent's dog I couldn't take him with me but they were on a trip and I took care of him. He's a blessing.

I grabbed him in my hand and started playing with him when something caught my attention. I looked at his neck to see a paper that was hanging on his leash.

"Tanie, what's with all these papers? Are they trying to surprise me?" I said in a childish voice while taking the paper away from Yeontan.

"This is the last paper, I swear ㅋㅋㅋㅋ, I have a little surprise for you in my photographs room, I would like you to bring a bottle of water as well, I might just get nervous ㅋ"

I rolled my eyes at his childish behaviour and grabbed a bottle of cold water walking to the room Jungkook's been keeping away as a secret since we met each other.

I was one time in there when I came to return his t-shirt but there was that picture that was covered, I couldn't deny, the curiosity was eating me inside and I wanted to know what that picture is, but I couldn't let Jungkook step out of his comfort zone for me.

I sighed and opened the wide wood doors which led me to a wide room, with pic portraits in which were: Namjin couple, Jungkook's with his relatives, Yoonminseok and a lot of framed pictures with close people but none with his par-

"Tae"

I turned around and saw Jungkook in front of a big covered frame with a wide smile.

"What are you doing? What's that frame?"

"That's uh- for later. I...thought a lot about this and since we...you know, started dating I wanted you to know everything about me"

"I'm glad you decided to share this with me" I smiled and he went straight to the point.

"I know you have been wondering what is this turned and covered picture" I nodded silently and he turned it for us to see.

It was a middle-aged man with black hair, white lines along the way, black piercing eyes and a small smile on his aging features.

You could tell that it was Jungkook's father because of their similarities.

"He is handsome, looks like you"

"Thank you" he said chuckling.

"He looks happy but, at the same time he's holding a sadness in his eyes"

"He...was in this company, which is originally a mafia and he died after a gang member threatened him, more specifically the leader. They killed him because he wanted to get out and break every contact with them, he ended up shoot and...they told me I should pay for his deeds. So I trained myself at a young age to be tough and embraced my decision of killing him. That happened short after I gained respect in the gang. It was a hard time since my mom was always whoring around. But, here I am now...happy, powerful, rich and in love" he said and  smiled sadly still looking at the frame.

"I, think he would be proud of you, I'm sure he's watching you from the above thinking that you deserve the happiness you have right now" I said and hugged him.

"Thank you, I decided I should accept the fact that he's gone and turn the present against the past, so, from today the picture is open for our eyes..."
