Jungkook's pov.

"Jungkook..."

"Nae Jackson"

"We are in front of the police department, get out and get in the black van that's standing at the corner of the street. We need to tell you something real quick"

"Be there in 5"

I ended the call and went to walk down the streets wich took me 2 to 3 minutes.

I spotted the van and got inside looking at the 4 man.

"Hi Mr. Jeon" said Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

"So Jungkook" said Xiumin, I let them call me by my name since we are so close so it doesn't bother me"...we found out that there's a person who wants to meet you and since we are the best hackers we found out he's gonna call you in 3...2...1-"

Unknown calling...  

"Hi Mr. Jeon Jungkook"

"Where?"

"Wow so eager Mr. Jeon"

"Location, time and what do you need I'm not gonna answer more questions"

"I'll send a message later with the information"

"Okay"

I ended the call and looked at the boys.

"You're not gonna go there" said Jackson as I raised a brow.

"Why?"

"Remember there's this shit with killing CEOs?" I nodded "we know that this person is one of them and also, we spoted a van just like ours outside your house at 4am taking pictures of personal things like, the passcode thing at the gate and the placate with the name of the street"

"That's not impressing me, these animals would go for everything to win the competition, and so do I"

"You still can't go there-"

"Can we see my house right now?"

"Yeah sure"

Baekhyung placed the monitor to the cameras of the entire house. He suddenly put the camera of the outside of the house and I saw all the lights on wich I questioned because I was home alone.

"There's someone there. Wheein is not working this month so I'm practically alone all day"

"Do you want us to go with you so we can cover you Mr. Jeon?"

"No Chanyeol I'm fine by myself, thank you"

He nodded and I got in my own car heading home while getting a fired gun from the backseat.

I parked and entered the front door as silent as possible.

As I went to check the house I couldn't find anything but there was a certain room I didn't got in.

I opened the door and saw a boy with a hoodie, his hood on his head.

I came closer and placed the gun on his temple ready to shot when-

"J-jungkook"

This voice.

"Taehyung?! What are you doing here this late, my gosh you almost gave me a heart attack"

He giggled sweetly as I looked at what he was staring.

It was a picture with my married best friends.

"Who are they for you?"

"My family, they've been together for 4 years. They're Jin and Namjoon"

"I don't know about you but Jin seems like a legit royal family member, and Namjoon looks so presentable. I'm actually impressed"

"Why is this photo turned-"

I knew what he was gonna ask so I cut him off trying to change the subject.

"So, why are you here?"

"I forgot to return you this T-shirt"

"You could've just kept it, I have plenty of them-"

"Hands up!" I heard Jackson and Xiumin's voice.

I looked at something that was tugging on my shirt and I saw Taehyung trembling looking like a  scared puppy as the boys approached him.

I growled and grabbed his hand.

"Omg stop, it's just Taehyung"

They stoped and looked at the boy with a guilty expression.

"I'm so sorry Tae"

"Its okay. Can we get something to eat tho? Let's make dinner"

We ended up with Jungkook cooking as we sat at the table.

As soon as Jungkook sat down and we all started eating the really good ramen with kimchi and rise Jungkook's phone started vibrating.

He looked at the phone with an annoyed expression and I looked at him more intensively.

"Is everything okay?"

He nodded and smiled shortly heading back to eat.

Something's been off with Jungkook in the past hours.

We finished eating at 7pm and now it's 1am and he's still up doing something.

I followed him in the kitchen and I saw him looking at his watch before tip-toing out making sure he was silent.

When I saw him turning right instead of going to his car I panicked a little because I wasn't the best at darkness.

When he stopped I saw an abandoned building where in the darkness you could see a figure standing waiting patiently for Jungkook.

I went closer to see what was happening and in the moment I approached I saw the strange man loading his gun at the back.

As he wanted to shoot Jungkook I didn't even hesitate and ran in front of Jungkook collapsing down afterwards.

I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder.
