Your time there quickly runs out. You, back your place, attempt to get through the week and hopefully with no scary crap or overactive imagination bull crap.
The week whispers by at the regular pace, work being work and home being home. You would get the regular text from Kasey as well, her and her random thoughts or just authentically wanting to know what and how you were doing, this always brightened your day, just knowing that someone actually wanted to know how you were doing always felt nice. Friday fishes its way to the present and the work portion quickly came to a close, not long after being home a knock barged onto your door, ripping you out of whatever endeavor you had been consumed by. Before you even had to get up the door creaks open and Kasey's smiling face beams in at you.
"I bring nothing more than what you ask for." She declares as two wild bodies with backpacks bust pass her screaming and jumping in nothing more than excitement to be at your place, a place which they are rarely aloud to stay at, but often visit. John follows in behind her with a matching smile glued to his features, the door gently shut behind him.
"You sure you want to watch are demons for so long?" John asks, but before you could respond an elbow bumps him a bit.
"No no dear, she offered so she is sure." Kasey assures him with an innocent look petting her features. A sweet laugh slips through your teeth.
"Yes, Kasey is right, I'm actually kinda excited. I have a few things planed and they can even be a bit of help to at work." You agree. As if on cue the kids pop up from behind the couch.
"Will it be fun?!" Alisa interrogate, her brother's intense gaze right next to hers, his eye's asking the exact same question.
"Well of course, I'm not just gonna stick you guys with some stupid task. Now what kinda get away would that be?" You ask puffing out your cheeks a little to make a silly face. The kids erupt in laughter then slip back to what they were doing.
"Alright well we best be going, got some sweet plans to follow through with." John says
"If I see no kids who am I supposed to say goodbye to?" Kasey's loud voice asks the air. Soft giggles answer.
"If no one needs a bye then I guess we will have to leave without any." John continues. Kasey motions silently for them to fake walk to the door, making fake footstep sounds. John opens then shuts the door, both of them look back at the couch, which triggers a flood of energy to come screaming for them to stay so the kids can say goodbye. Laughter quickly replaces the screams as John scoops them up and a huge bear hug, pinning the two together. A loud 'Raahhh' escapes Johns lips as he lifts the two squirming children into the air then places them back down to the ground. A little stumbling happens before the kids ram them self into their mother. She replies with an 'Oohhu' then kisses them both on the cheeks.
"You two take care now my lovelies." Kasey coos then takes John's hand, with a soft smile and a waves, exiting your apartment. As soon as the door shuts, two heads ram into your sides, causing you to jump a little. You look down to see two pairs of brilliant green and blue eyes beaming at you from either side of your body.
"Alright, Alright, I can take a hint. What do you two devils want to do?" You ask.
"Cookie!" Alisa squeaks.
"You want to bake?" You ask confused.
"........ No.... Yes! But you're Cookie aren't you?" The small child questions. A chill consumes your spine with her words.
"Where, uh where did you hear that?" You hesitantly ask.
"Ow free.!" Alex bursts in excitement, to exited to focus on words.
