You're Jealous, Aren't You? (Felix x Kid) *Kindergarten Game Fanfic*

Prologue

"We did it! We stopped her!" Lily cheers, pulling Nugget, Billy and kid in a group hug, nearly squeezing them half-to-death from excitement (Kid was sure that if she were to have hugged them any tighter, she would have snapped their necks in half).

"We really did it! We saved the school! Again!" She squeals in happiness. Gurgling could be heard nearby, suddenly Lily lets them go. They all turn to look at Penny's head, who was still alive and trying to speak. The four rushed over to her, Lily kneeling down to carefully pick up the poor dying girl's head. Tears ran down her cheeks as she stared down at Penny.

"Penny, I'm sorry this has happened to you. I-i'm so sorry." Lily's eyes tear up and cradles Penny's head gently, the boys hug her and Kid also tried not to cry himself. Penny smiles and gently closes her eyes and gurgles something incomprehensible. The Elevator dings again and opens, revealing Ted, who looked scared and worried. The four kids turn to look at him, all just stare at each other for what felt like minutes until Kid spoke.

"Ted? How did you find us?"

"I-it sounded like something ex-exploded. S-so Felix sent me to go see what happened, so I went into the hall and these three kids pop out of the elevator covered in slime. I-i asked them where they came from and they sent me here. W-what happened?"

Ted nervously says as he steps out of the elevator and carefully walks towards the group. Lily sniffs and stands up, showing Penny's head that was still in her arms. All color drains from his face as he shakes, wondering what had happened down in that creepy basement as he steps back in fear. Billy walks over to what's left of Penny's body and tries to lift it up himself, nearly falling over due to the weight of her body. He calls over the others to help.

"We need to get her to Bob, there still could be time to save her!"

Billy held hope that there was at least enough to get her to the friendly janitor before it was too late. Nugget and Kid nod and help him get the body to the elevator as Lily follows, still carefully holding Penny's head, making sure that the girl doesn't die on them. Ted shakenly walks over and pushes the button to the main floor. Once there they call over Bob who quickly calls an Ambulance. Kid notices how shaken up Ted was, he put a hand on his shoulder causing Ted to look over at him. Kid smiles calmly at him.

"Want to walk around? It could calm you down."

"Y-yeah....Sure, let's do that please."

Ted takes Kid's hand as the brunette boy asks Billy to tell him when the ambulance gets there, getting a nod and a thumbs up, they head off to walk around the school (Or what is left of it that doesn't contain a body or much rubble). When the two reach the back of the school they stop and sit down in the sandbox to talk. Outside was cool, the sun was setting and all animals seemed to be silent, leaving the relaxing soft breeze as they sat in silence for a little bit to process all that had happened.

"I can't believe that this is happening." Ted says with a grim look in his eyes, staring off into the distance.

"Which part? The Principle being a monster? That all of the Teachers are gone? The explosions? Penny?"

"All of it. I-it all just happened so fast and in one day too... I-i just hope that-"

"Teddy! Where on earth have you been?!"

The sound of shoes stomping on the floor grows towards them, the brunette and blonde look behind them to see none other than Felix Huxley himself, tapping his foot looking annoyed.

"I've been waiting forever in the limo! What have you been doing?"

"I-i've been talking to k-kid."

Felix glances at Kid, who suddenly felt shy for some reason, and awkwardly waves at the blonde twin boy while smilingly . Felix looks back at Ted, still mad of course but somehow it felt like there was something else in the air now, tension maybe? Ted quietly clears his throat.

"Y-you wouldn't believe what had just happened! Kid was telling me all about it and-"

"I don't have time for this Ted, we need to go home now! Unless you want Father to be mad at you, you're either going to come with me or walk."

"..." Ted stares at the ground both upset and ashamed of himself. Felix huffs and rolls his eyes before leaving shortly after, Kid just stares at him, forgetting that Ted was there. Ted sighs, looking over and seeing a bit of blush on Kid's cheeks. He raises an eyebrow before waving a hand in front of Kid's face, making the brunette snap out of it.

"You like my brother? Don't you?" Ted said in a monotone. Kid looks at him shocked as he quickly tries to defend himself.

"W-what? No! He's a jerk to you! Why would I like a mean guy like him?!" Kid objects, only getting redder in the face. Ted gives him a look that said 'I don't believe a single word you're saying'. Suddenly Kid couldn't help but feel very awkward being with Ted.

"Kid! Ted! Come here! The Ambulance is here!"

Kid immediately stands up and pulls Ted to the front of the school where Billy waits. As they walk to Billy, Ted is pulled by Felix by the arm.

"Where do you think you're going now?"

"He's coming with me." Felix snaps his head towards a blushing nervous yet determined Kid. Ted pushes his twin's hand off his arm and walks to Kid.

"What do you mean he's coming with you, boy?"

"He's coming with me to the hospital, we want to make sure that Penny is okay, after all she's been through she needs friends to support her if she survives after this. My Parents will be more than happy to drop him off after going to check on her."

Felix opens his mouth to object to Kid but couldn't find the words to say it. Ted smiles at Kid as they head towards Billy.

"Lily couldn't get Bob to let us come with him to the hospital, we're going to have to wait with the hall monitors for our parents to pick us up but Bob did say that he promises to let us know how Penny is tomorrow."

"Alright, then maybe we can convince our parents to take us there!"

Billy, Lily and Nugget agree to the idea as they watch the ambulance arrive. While the paramedics deal with Penny, Bob quickly rushes over to the five kids.

"Are you all sure you're going to be alright waiting here for your parents here. I can call the other Janitor-"

"We're sure Bob."

Bob frowns a bit before patting both of their heads before a soft smile returns to his face.

"If you say so... I guess"

He walks away to his car, giving them a final wave for now before driving off to follow the ambulance. The five waves back as they begin to talk about the past events that had just happened. Waiting patiently by the school entrance as the two hall monitors finally exit the school to supervise them.

In the distance, Felix watches from the limo, he was extremely mad at Ted but he also felt something else, something he never felt towards his brother, jealousy. It was weird for him to feel that since it was usually the other way around, Ted was jealous of Felix, it didn't feel right for Felix to feel jealous of his lesser twin. The blonde had no idea why he would feel that way. He snaps his fingers to signal to the limo driver to go as he watches the school get smaller and smaller until he wasn't able to see it, and yet, even if he couldn't see them, the feeling only got worse and worse. It was all he could think about even after he had got home.

(Author's note/edit 2/16/23: To everyone who saw this book before I re-edited it, yes, I did unpublish it. I'm sorry that I did but now I am ready to republish it little by little. The story will mostly stay the same besides a few new changes to both improve the story itself/the writing and make me more proud of this story even if it's cringy in my eyes. I'll be honest, I've also decided to republish this book because I was reading all of the books in the 'felixxkid' tag and suddenly remembered why I liked writing fanfics. And to all new readers, don't worry about this note and enjoy the story!)
