You're Jealous, Aren't You? (Felix x Kid) *Kindergarten Game Fanfic*

Chapter 2

The two boys sat in the back of the classroom, bored out of their minds as they watched the lecture in front of them. They wrote down notes when it was needed, other than that they- like half of the class at this point- lazily sat in their chairs listening to the teacher speak. Ted was about half-asleep when a loud slam of a hardcover book pulled him away before sleep could take him. As he jolted up he let out a small yelp of shock, he was met with the disappointed gaze of the teacher who stood in front of him. Mr.Vertis clears his throat while Ted gives him a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry that my class isn't that interesting at the moment Mr.Huxley, but it would be more respectful if you at least pretend to be paying attention than fall asleep in the middle of it."

"S-sorry sir, it won't happen again" Ted apologized to his teacher, feeling mildly embarrassed.

"Hope it won't" The man responds as he turns around and walks back to the front of the class, other students snickered a bit at the sudden disruption but Vertis was quick to respond. "Yes yes, someone got in trouble. To anyone who wants to continue distracting the class, I will gladly send them down to the office if they believe it's much more important than learning."

The class remained silent, obeying their strict teacher. Kid wanted to giggle at the scene in front of him, but at the same time, he didn't want to get into trouble because of it. Most of the class period it was obvious to Kid that Ted wasn't paying that much attention to what was being taught at the moment, he was more focused on trying not to fall asleep thanks to how uninterested he was in the subject. The brunette took down as many notes as he needed to make sure his rich blonde friend was still able to understand what was going on.

"Since we still have a few minutes left in class, I would like to inform you all about an upcoming project I have assigned to start next week." Mr.Vertis started, heading to his desk to sit down. "It's going to be based on Renaissance authors. I will go into detail more about what I expect from you all tomorrow. The thing I want at least sorted out by tomorrow are partners for this project, you can choose who you want to work with but understand that whoever you work with, you are stuck with them."

Ted and Kid both look at each other and nod. As the teacher finishes up the class period the sound of the bell alerts the students that class is over. "You all may go" Mr.Vertis dismisses the class.

Other classes would be pretty uneventful for Kid, if it weren't for having Geometry and Chemistry with Nugget and Billy (those periods never fail to nearly give the brunette a heart attack). By then Kid was always thankful to have Art for his fourth period since it was the time where he could relax a bit before he would have to go to History with Carla and Lily (while you think those two are pretty calm when in class, they're the complete opposite. The amount of shit that Kid had to witness while having to do a WW2 group project was extremely chaotic. Kid still has nightmares from that experience. *Insert Vietnam flashbacks here*). Luckily after that, there was lunch.

"Alright, we go with the Van at around 10:30 to get Penny, make a U-turn on Washington Street then high tail to Kid's house by 10:40. We'll abduct him and then head over to Ted's house which won't be easy since all of the guards are there so we'll have to take out a few. Then Ted you make your way to the Van like James Bond. By 10:50, we should be on the highway to the house."

"Billy, you're making this sound like we're going to kidnap and torture Kid." Ted remarks as Lily chokes on the bite of her sandwich that she was eating as she laughed. Penny pats her back as Nugget hands her a water bottle.

"Also can't Ted just pay off the guards like he usually does?" Billy pouts at Penny.

"But it's not as fun!"
