DAY 3
"Wait! This is cute! Bring this!" Anna squeled as she put in another shorts inside the luggage.
I was busy searcing for more clothes when I realized that the luggage was mostly filled with shorts. I knocked Anna's head as she let out a cry.
"Anna, I'm going there and it's June! Are you just plain crazy!? Do you want me to freeze to death!?" I took out all the shorts until my luggage was completely blank.
Anna giggled and whispered, "Stupid, I knew that."
I ignored her and continued packing up. I put lots and lots of sweaters and scarfs and all those clothes where you need for winter. I smiled in satisfaction when everything was ready and looked up at Anna.
"What?" I asked. She was giving me the 'what the heck?' look.
"You know, you can at least pack some shorts? What if you're going to sleep? Don't you want to sleep at least a bit more...umm...comfortable? And you know, it might be quite useful since you're stopping over at Hawaii..." Anna said suggestively.
I was in deep thought after she said that.
"Well, I'm sure we're stopping over for just one to two days right? So...I don't need it then," I replied while dragging my voice because I wasn't sure. You know what? I'm going to trust my instincts. I don't need shorts, psh.
----------~----------
I was watching netflix with Anna when my phone rang. I groaned as we were so engrossed and it was finally the most exciting part. I told Anna to pause it and for the first time in forever, she didn't quarel back. I was quite surprised but just ignored it. I looked on the screen and didn't recognize the number and answered it outside my room where it was more...quiet?
"Hello?" a guy from the other line answered.
"Evan? How the heck did you get my number?" I asked, shocked.
"You just gave me your number yesterday. Getting forgetful, aren't we?" he said in an amused voice.
I rolled my eyes and groaned, "What do you want?"
"You are forgetful," he laughed.
I was wondering what he was talking about and I remembered that I told him to meet me today...
I felt my face warm up and I can literally feel like I'm a tomato right now. Gosh, stupid Kaitlyn! Ughhh!
"I know you're blushing right now," he said in a cocky voice.
"Oh shut up. Just meet me in the playground where we went to last time. Goodbye and you don't have to say goodbye because I already said it. Goodbye, once again," I rushed to hung up and face palmed myself.
"KAITLYN! WHAT THE HECK IS TAKING YOU SO FREAKING LONG!? I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR LIKE FREAKING TWENTY MINUTES AND I'M CRYING RIGHT NOW CUZ- oh, you're here...hehe, umm...should we continue with the...umm...show?" Anna scratched the back of her head and laughed sheepishly. I giggled softly and became serious when I recalled about what me and Evan talked about.
"Sorry Anna, I can't. I have to meet the pikachu guy. You know, to plan things out a bit," I said.
By that time, I knew that Anna was going to explode any time soon. She grew redder. Before she get wild, I ran out of my room and shouted, "Bye Anna! I can hear his car from outside!"
Actually, he doesn't have a car. I just wanted to escape Anna's nagging.
----------~----------
I was walking towards the playground and noticed that Evan wasn't there yet. I didn't know why but I felt a shiver down my spine. Suddenly, thoughts came rushing in my mind like, "Did he got kidnapped? Did he got murdered? Was the one I talked to lately not Evan and it was someone else instead? Is this a trap?"
