~Playlist : Coldplay | Kings of Convenience
Jackson pushed the convenience store's glass door and lightly stepped down a couple of stairs. Eunwoo followed him as he slid his wallet on the back pocket of his jeans. They strolled on the pedestrian, headed to the crossroad.
After the traffic lights turned green Jackson did a little run. Leaving Eunwoo, who walked leisurely, amidst the rushing surrounding . Twenty seconds left.
Eunwoo's gaze peeled for the towering traffic countdown timer. Jackson, who waited on the other side while swaying the plastic bag in his hand, puckering his lips like a duck.
"Hurry up, grandpa!" Jackson shouted. Eunwoo, who just stepped on the last block of the crossroad, gave him a lopsided smile.
Eunwoo and Jackson decided to take a little walk to release all the stress from the group project. They purposely took a long detour to the biggest convenience store around their district, to be able to breathe more fresh air.
When they passed a few street vendors, which smells like a chilly soup and blood sausage ; it made them stopped for a while, but they decided to buy some egg toast in the next stall for take out. It would had been enough to fill their stomachs until dinner.
After thanking the friendly vendor owner, they exited the stall. Jackson continued his theory about his friends, as they went to the narrower street to the north.
"The actual problem is, Mina and Mingyu never really talk. The earlier outburst was the first time she actually talk to him. I can imagine how shocked Mingyu must have felt,"
"But he is also being unprofessional with his half-hearted submission, of course she would blow up. She worked the hardest. Damn, I've no idea which side I should pick," Jackson said.
"This is my fault anyway, I failed as a leader; I couldn't bring them together. No matter what happened between them that day, I should be able to push them harder to be professional. Mina took this seriously, while Mingyu couldn't care less." Eunwoo sighed.
"Ey, it's not your fault, buddy. We're just unlucky, we're stuck between their fiasco," Jackson slung his arm on Eunwoo's shoulder, albeit the latter was a bit taller; as they walked down the path.
"But, it's not their fault either, they have a bigger problem than us. I feel sad to see them distanced themselves like that."
"I know, they are like... perfect, aren't they?" Jackson smiled.
"Nothing is perfect, Jack..."
"They are... Mina is gorgeous, Mingyu is cool, what would be better than that? They could be a royal couple if they hit it off."
"Based on their appearance only? You're quite superficial, Jack, I'm surprised!"
"As if you, Koreans don't do that? Korea is the worst place regarding lookism!" Jackson rolled his eyes.
Eunwoo chuckled and nodded slightly. He pulled the zipper of his Jacket up, while Jackson wiggled his head to remove some random leaves that stuck on the crown of his hair.
"I'm talking about their personality too, Mingyu is tough and brave, he could protect Mina well if she allowed him." Jackson added.
"Mina didn't look for a bodyguard, Jack..."
"A boyfriend slash bodyguard, what's wrong with that? Kill two birds with one stone! If I were Mina, I would snatch him in a second!" Jackson said fierily. He made a grabbing motion with his fist, in front of his face.
