With Luke's help, Boman had narrowed the seemingly endless list of assassins to two-- they both had no name, they both did both extreme and low key jobs, and they both were pretty inconspicuous. They both had private contracts, but both of them traveled with companions. Lukas assured them that it wasn't rare for assassins to work in groups, but one of the assassins did the jobs on his own, the other not being his partner in killing, but simply his partner in travel.
"The extra would probably show his face a little since he isn't the killer and there is never any proof of involvement. I'm a little surprised that the assassin we're talking about would have one, as an extra is an unnecessary distraction from the job, can get them identified if they aren't careful, and can be a weakness to anyone who wants them to kill someone for free." Luke said.
Boman nodded. "Interesting. Thank you for your help, and as thankful as I am, does your mother know of the career path you've decided to pursue?" He asked.
Luke shook his head. "Of course not! I can't tell her until I successfully do a job, then she'll know I'm serious." Lukas said. "And it definitely has nothing to do with the fact that she'd forbid you to if you told her right now," Charles said sarcastically.
Boman looked at the assassins on the list. The assassin who killed alone was called Perseus, and from Boman's studies, he knew that name to mean 'to destroy'. The assassins that worked together had a more noble name, and they called themselves 'The Graces' with their individual names being concealed due to their private contract.
"You can get in touch with them. To appease 'The Graces', give them a job, but make it seem like you want to know if they are capable of terminating said target. They will either give you the records of a past job to show you that they are capable, or they leave it." Lucas said, ignoring Charles. "Wouldn't giving up their records violate the unsaid 'keep the client a secret rule?'" Leo asked. "No, they can give records without revealing who their client was. They probably only relay the job and its outcome." Luke said to the young mechanic.
"Looks like Perseus is booked at the moment," Boman said, after clicking on the assassin's profile. Perseus isn't taking any jobs as of right now. Would you like to be added to the waiting list? The question displayed on the screen asked. The boxed words 'yes' and 'no' were boxed under the question.
"You should add yourself to the waiting list and put in a job. Maybe something simple but with a huge reward." Luke suggested. "That's kind of obvious, isn't it?" Leo asked. "We could get him to get rid of that monster lady. The one with the animal heads growing out of her belt." Charles clarified.
"He's an assassin, not a hunter," Luke said. "Assassin means he kills things for a living right? If he kills her, we can offer a lot of money as a reward which should catch his attention. If he can easily kill people, he should be able to not care enough to kill one terrifying monster lady." Leo said.
"Well you do have a point there I guess," Luke grumbled, not wanting to admit it.
"The Graces are currently available. What should their job be?" Charles asked. "Well, until we get Perseus here so we can figure out whether he or The Graces killed that general, we have to get them near enough so we can attempt to capture them. I'll relay the message to your mother so the soldiers will be prepared." Boman responded.
He put in the request, the perfect one that came to mind.

"Your companions, will not be permitted with you." Chaos started. "And why is that?" Percy asked, not wanting to leave Tyson alone in a place he was uncomfortable with. "Well, your monstrous brother will surely capture some unwanted attention, and your overprotective lizard would be aggravated and useless if it were to land on that planet," Chaos answered. Percy was surprised he did, as most employers refused to answer questions.
"Aggravated?" Percy asked, trying his luck with the questions. Chaos answered this one too. "The air there is toxic, and it would kill even the most poisonous and resistant of dragons. It is a defense against assassins, as you know--"
"Yes, assassins have dragons, I get it. You heard that Abyss." Percy said to the small dragon, who growled from her newly claimed perch on Tyson's shoulder. She had shrunk to her normal form, which made her look like a small purple lizard with scaly wings.
She lifted herself into the air and opened her jaws to voice her complaint, but Percy gave her a stern look which made her sit back down on Tyson's shoulder. "As long as Octavion Augusta dies, I care not for the amount of damage you cause to the other side, but if you wish to let out some steam don't hesitate to do so on any soldier you come across." Chaos said.
"I'd rather avoid going undercover so I will go in undetected. Do you want me to leave a calling card?" Percy asked him.
Chaos chuckled darkly. "You kill Octavian and I'll send my calling card myself." He said.
"Right. Ty, come here."
Tyson stood beside him, easily towering over Percy, but he looked sad as he lowered his head to make eye contact with Percy.
"Do you have to go, brother?" Tyson asked sadly. "Yes, and don't worry, I'll be back as soon as I can. What to do if they give you food?"
"Get Abby to eat it because she is immune to poison and she'll tell me if it is safe or not," Tyson answered.
"What to do if I take longer than two days?"
"Go away somewhere safe with Abby," Tyson said.
"And what do you do if anyone tries to hurt you?"
"Close my eyes and count to twenty so Abby can make them disappear," Tyson answered innocently. Percy cast a meaningful glance at Chaos. "Okay, I'm ready. I suspect you'll be bringing me back as well?" Percy asked.
"Yes, if you manage to make it out alive, that is." Chaos said. "Zeus! Come here!" Chaos yelled loudly, and a tall blond man limped out. He carried chains on his hands, feet, and neck, and his sky blue eyes looked down, refusing to meet anyone's gaze. He looked like the driver of that chariot, Apollo, Percy thought.
His face was dirty, his clothes were torn, and he looked out of place in the large golden room they were standing in, but something told Percy that the man was a little more than the feeble one he saw in front of him.
He didn't spare Chaos nor Percy a single glance. "Yes, my lord?" He said, his voice surprisingly deep and strong taken his lanky tall appearance and the obvious lack of confidence he had going on.
"Zeus, send Perseus to Ramonia." Chaos commanded. Zeus' head snapped up, the weight of the chains slamming down as he struggled to keep his eyes on Percy. His eyes widened as what looked like recognition registered flashed through his eyes. "Now." Chaos ordered, raising his voice at him.
Zeus cringed before raising his hands. His pale skinny hands trembled as they held up the weight of the chains. He closed his eyes, and light began to envelop Percy's body.
"Brothe--!" Tyson called out, but Percy had already gone. Instead of the grand palace he'd been at seconds ago, he was on plush green ground, with people milling around him. No one noticed him when he appeared, and he hurriedly ducked around a tree. He looked at his appearance before glancing at the people walking by and decided that he would change his clothes before finishing off his target.
Target: Octavian Augusta. Status: Alive.
That's the end of this part. What'd you think? I hoped you enjoyed it and until next time,
