I planned to wake up earlier today than I did yesterday, so that I would be prepared for when Noah showed up at my front door, but something wakes me up before my alarm.

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing at 3am. It's Noah.
"Hey! Throw on some clothes and meet me and Charlotte outside!"
"Are you crazy! Is three in the morning!"
"Only a little crazy, just come outside trust me!"
I hang up the phone and slip on some joggers and some old sandals sitting next to the door.
"Noah? What's going on?" I say as I open the door to find a sleepy Charlotte and Noah very excited about something.
"That's what I've been asking for ten minutes but he insists on waiting on you" Charlotte says.
"Okay I know it's super early but, there is a comet that only happens once every 40 years! We couldn't miss it!" Noah almost jumped out of his skin when he told us what was happening.
"Ugh, you're such a nerd!" Charlotte says, obviously tired and grumpy.
"Well since you're both already awake, let's watch it!" Noah insist.
"I guess it can't hurt anything, follow me, I've got a platform room that we can sit on and watch it." I say walking inside grabbing pillows and blankets along the way.

We get up to my room and climb out my window to the roof. Charlotte sits down immediately while Noah and I spread out a blanket and place pillows against the house so we could be more comfortable. I look over and Charlotte has fallen back asleep. Noah and I laugh while we lie down and look towards the sky.
"When is it supposed to start?" I say yawning.
"Soon I promise"

I started getting really tired when we saw the comet. I was almost asleep when I heard Noah saying
"Look! There it is! Isn't it beautiful?"
"Oh yeah! It really is.." I say with my words trailing off into slumber.

I woke up with a good feeling about the day, not fully aware of my surroundings yet.. but a really good and comforting feeling. I opened my eyes to see the sun rising. It was beautiful, I had only fallen asleep on the roof once before and I remembered the feeling of waking up to the sun rise, such a welcoming feeling. But this morning was different, it was better, the welcoming and calming feeling wasn't just coming from the beautiful sight. That's when I realized.... I woke up laying in Noah's arms. No one else was awake, but I was being held by Noah Brackson. I got up as quickly and as quietly as I could, hoping that I wouldn't wake anyone. But Noah started to twitch and rub his eyes, I quickly laid back down beside him, facing the other way. I laid there pretending to be asleep, that's when I felt a poke and heard his voice..
"Toni, you up?"
"Yeah I just woke up."
"That comet was amazing, it was unlike anything I've ever experienced."
"Yeah... it was pretty great." I say poking Charlotte to wake her up.
"I'm up! I promise!" Charlotte says jumping up.
"You missed the comet Char." I say laughing.
"Dang it, I'm sorry guys." She says crawling through the window and laying on my bed.

Noah and I look at each other and just laugh. We crawl through the window to join Charlotte inside. I sit down on the bed next to her and find her asleep yet again.
"Hey, I'll go grab some clothes from my house and let you two get changed and we can all meet up here and go get food." Noah says grabbing his phone.
"Okay, Yeah... well meet here in 30 minutes?"
"Sounds good!"

He disappears down the stairs when I close my bedroom door and throw a pillow at Charlottes head.
"Ow! What do you want?" Charlotte says throwing it back at me.
"I woke up in Noah's arms!"
"You what?!?!!" Charlotte says suddenly at full attention.
"I woke up in Noah's arms, like him holding me, like me being held by flippin NOAH!!"
"I'd say you're freaking out."
"Obviously! How did I get in his arms? Why did I wake up there? Did he see me moving? I just don't kn-" I say getting interpreted by Charlotte.
"Look, we have to get dressed now and save the questions for later, Noah is on his way back over here." Charlotte says grabbing the shirt and shorts she keeps at my house for emergencies.

She throws a pair of leggings and and a t-shirt at me from my closet. While we're getting dressed, I can't help but think about what I woke up to this morning. How did Noah and I end up like that? I fell asleep in the corner up against my house.. I woke up in his arms in the middle of the roof. I try to think back and remember everything I possibly could from last night, that's when we hear a knock on the door.

"Toni? Charlotte? Can I come in?" It's Noah's voice. We were both dressed we were just freshening up a bit in my bathroom.

"Yeah sure Noah come on in!" Charlotte says.

Noah opens the door, sits down on my bed, and takes out his phone while waiting on us to finish getting ready.
"Hey, Toni?" Noah says.
"What's up?" I say as normal as I can.
"I was wondering if we could talk for just a minute..."
"Oh sure!"

Me and Noah walk downstairs while Charlotte finishes straightening her hair. I can feel my heart beating out of my chest. I can hear it... can he hear it? I'm so nervous.. why would he ask me to talk to him... alone? It's probably nothing I tell myself.. maybe he just wants to ask me about the script.. possibly.

"Hey, uhh... listen.. I'm not trying to replace Isaiah, I'm just trying to make some more friends, I've been so caught up in what I want from life, I never take the time to get close with anyone, If im being to extra.. please forgive me."
"Oh, no! Noah you're really fine! I'm so glad that we've all became friends! And that comet last night was beautiful!"
"Thanks, I just didn't want to be weird.. or awkward."
You're really not.. its been so much fun hanging out with you!"
"Thanks"
Charlotte comes downstairs and we head out for breakfast.
