Brick's P.O.V
I smile and walk into Buttercup's room and saw she was on the phone with Butch. It looked like tears were falling down her face. I sigh as she hangs up. I say, "Hey baby girl. What's wrong?" She says, "Mom escaped and Dad came back." I growl and hug her. I say, "Look. I've been with you in a long distance relationship. I'm not leaving you now." She starts crying. She says, "They're tracking me." I sigh and ask, "How?" She shows me her arm. On her wrist was an electrical bracelet with a wire going to the inside of her elbow. She says, "That bracelet is how." I say, "Take it off." She says, "Brick! It's not that simple! I-It w-will n-n-never b-be that s-s-s-simple." I nod. She says, "I'm going to sleep." I nod. Tomorrow Butterfly turns 17. I should do something for her. I decided I could sing for her. Now what song? No, not that. Or that. Or that! I've got it!
Time skip: Lunch Break next day
I sigh. I don't think this is good enough. Everyone streamed out of the buildings. The principal called everyone to the theater for me to do this. I sigh and put on my microphone.
One of these:
and I yell out, "I need everyone's attention please!" Everyone looked at where I was on the stage. I say, "Thanks for coming. I just wanted to sing a song to someone important to me. That's all." I spot Buttercup blushing, smile, and start singing "Marry Me".
Everyone started cheering. I say, "Thank you!" Buttercup ran up to me. I hug her. She says, "Brick, I loved it. Thank you." I say, "You're welcome. And. HAPPY 17th! I hate you're older than me. I hate Boomer is oldest!" She smiles and we look at her wrist. I say, "We'll be ready for them. Right?" She nods. She says, "Yeah. We'll be ready for them." I hug her and we leave hand-in-hand.
