you grumbled as your phone rang for what seemed to be the millionth time. you turned over and grabbed your phone. you checked the time and saw that it was 4 am in the morning. your phone buzzed again, showing a contact on the screen. you swiped to answer the call, not reading who was the caller. you grumbled "hello" as thoughts of who would call you in this hour popped up in your mind.
"hi love,, sorry to wake you at this hour but could you open the door?" a familiar voice came out from your phone making your heart leap. you stood up and walked towards the door of your apartment, hanging up the call.
you opened the door to see your boyfriend, hangyul standing there in gym shorts and an oversized hoodie. he opened his arms, engulfing you into his warm embrace. you two stayed in that postion for a few minutes in complete silence before you asked "why are you here at this hour gyul?" he shyly chuckled and said "i wanna eat cereal with you." you laughed and pinched his cheeks while saying "you're so cute."
you dragged him inside your apartment, heading straight to the kitchen. you grabbed the cereal, milk and two bowls and made the cereal with hangyul back hugging you while looking at what you were doing. you placed the bowls on the counter in the middle of the kitchen.
you sat down on one of the chairs grabbing the bowl of cereal and pulling it towards you. hangyul plopped down on the seat beside you, wrapping one of his arms around your waist while the other hand was grasping the bowl of cereal. both of you started eating the cereal in slience. you looked at hangyul, who looked like a kid eating ice cream. you chuckled and said "gyul... why would you want to eat cereal at my apartment at 4 am in the dang morning?" hangyul chuckled and swirled his spoon around making the cereal swoosh in the milk.
he blushed a little and quietly said "i wanted to spend time with you." you squealed and hugged him, gushing on how cute he was. he grumbled about how he wasn't cute but sexy. you laughed more and cuddled him in your arms while hangyul sulked.
this was why early mornings with hangyul were the best.
