As soon as we got into the cabin we had every year, everyone started to unpack. Everyone apart from me that is. I jumped on my bed after throwing my bag across the room.
"Um . . who said that was your bed?" Brooke asked being the diva she was. Sometimes she would get on my nerves. I mean, she was the kinda girl that would get everything she wanted from her parents and to be honest she was quite selfish sometimes causing a few arguements. Although, most the arguements would end up with us rolling on the floor laughing and saying sorry. Thats us, we try to act serious and it just ends up with us in fits of laughter.
"No, this is my bed every year!" I argued
"Well then . . ." Brooke said as she ran across the cabin and picked up my bag. I wondered what she was going to do with it until she threw it at me causing me to fall back and off the bed and onto my butt. Everyone sat their shocked until I was the first to start laughing. We sat their for 5 minutes laughing until we heard a knock on the door.
Nicole ran up and opened it fast nearly falling back. We burst out laughing again.
"Well, I see my giggly girls are back" Said Katie.
Katie was the camp leader and also my cousin. I ran up and hugged her. Katie opened this camp 10 years ago and me and my friends had been going ever since. She would always hang out with us and let us sneak around. I know, I got a cool cousin.
"I missed you" I said, Katie would spend all year at camp apart from christmas. Katie would never miss christmas with the family, she loved us and christmas to much.
"I just came to remind you to unpack and meet at the bonfire for the welcome back gathering in 50 minutes" She said smiling her head off. I had never seen Katie upset. She always had a smile on her face.
"Okay" Us girls said all at the same time. As soon as Katie had left, Jodie spoke up.
"Listen, I can't be bothered to unpack, I'm going to the art room. Can someone come with?"
"Sorry, I'm going to go look at the new shop" Said Brooke as she ran out the cabin.
"I am going to go set up some pranks and then go to the football court" Amy said excitedly. I rolled my eyes. Amy loved playing pranks, they were normally on people she hated or us.
"I am going to stay back to unpack" Nicole said, I laughed.
"Your really the mummy of the group arn't you!" I giggled, she gave me a glare then started to unpack. She hated being called the mummy of the group.
"What about you?" Jodie sighed, I shrugged. I wanted to go with Jodie, I hated making people upset but I was dieing to see the new music room.
"Sorry but . . ." I was cut off by Jodie opening the door and said that she would be in the art room. My heart dropped, I know she would come back as her normal self but still she seemed quite upset.
I left the room without saying goodbye to Nicole. We were the weirdest of friends, we would go off and do our own thing most the time but when we would come back to the room we would stay up nearly all night. You should feel sorry for our neighbours. Talking about it, I wonder who our neighbours are . . .
I was cut out of my thoughts when someone bumped into me. All my music books I was holding had fallen onto the floor. Normally, Brooke would yell at the person and attract attention but I hated attention so I just slowly bent down to pick them up.
"No" I heard someone say in an accent that I couldn't guess. I looked up at the person and then collected my books. I stood back up.
"I would have picked them up for you, I mean it was my fault" He said, in an irish accent.
As soon as he said that I started to look at him properly. He had pale skin with bright blue eyes that lit up his face. His blonde hair was sticking up in a kind of messy quiff. He wore a plain white shirt we plain jeans. He smiled at me and it clicked. I knew exactly who it was.
"Oh, Crap" I whispered, that was all I could get out at that point.
