I wake up to someone humming. I open my eyes to see an unfamiliar man sitting beside the bed i'm on, scrolling through his phone. I shift in the bed and he looks at me with a bright smile. "Hi, i'm Calum. I'm a doctor here and a friend of Luke's" I smile lightly. "Any pain at all?" I shake my head. "That's really good" He opens his mouth to speak again but the door opens. Luke walks in followed by another man.

"Hi princess" I smile at him slightly and he takes a seat at the end of my bed. The other guy walks up to me and sits in one of the chairs beside my bed.

"I'm Ashton, i'm a phycologist here" I look at him with wide eyes. He notices this and holds his hands out. "Hey, it's okay, we aren't going to push you." I nod slightly and i can feel the tension in my shoulders go down. "Can Calum look at your wrist?" I nod and move my arm towards Calum. He gently grabs it and unwraps the bandage from around it revealing a swollen purple mess. I cringe at the sight before turning away to face a sympathetic Luke.

"Okay princess, we got your x rays back, you don't need to have surgery." I smile feeling relieved. "We do have to put a cast on it though" I nod knowing that was going to happen. "So i'm going to leave you with these two while i go get our specialist." Calum gets up and walks out of the room leaving me with Luke and Ashton. They both give me a bright smile.

"I have to ask you a few questions sweetheart okay? You can take your time" I nod and pick at the duvet with my left hand. "We'll start easy, what's your name and age?"

"Emilia Grace and I'm 16" Ashton nods.

"What school do you go too?"

"Um, i do online school" He nods.

"Okay so, I'm not going to beat around the bush. Did your father hit you?" My throat goes dry and i can't get any words out.

"I-I" I feel tears fill my eyes and Luke scoots closer to me but avoiding touching me.

"It's okay baby, take your time"

"He only did it because i-" Luke looks at me concerned.

"What did you do?" I take a deep breath.

"I killed my mum"
