Not having been out of my room for three days straight Jisung finally decides to fetch me for a meeting. I now took part of their meetings ever since that incident happened with one of the buyers. I've been told I'm quite persuasive and good with making negotiations. "You ready?" Jisung's head pops in without even knocking first. "I've knocking is very sufficient you should try it" jisung just rolled his eyes and closed the door. He knocks in the door and waits for my say so "who is it?" I joked "you're and idiot" he laughed and opens the door again. "How are you feeling about this one?" He refers to the meeting that was going to be held in approximately ten minutes, we like to set up early. "I don't know I'm really nervous" the now dark haired boy just simply nods in agreement.
*flash back to last night*
"Thanks again for bringing me Takis guys I haven't had them since the last time I visited my family in LA" I say before taking another mouth full of the chips "it was nothing really" Jisung says as both him and Felix shrugs it off. "How did you even find this anyways ?" They didn't sell takis in Korea. "We can find people and weapons in any part of the world so we can definitely find chips" Felix snorted which caused us all to laugh.
A sudden knock on the door soon silenced us, all our heads snapped towards the door. "Come in" I finally say forgetting that it was my room so I had the say so as to when they come in, unless they were Chan of course. It wasn't Chan though instead it was Changbin. "Can I have a moment with her guys??" His face looked serious and then again it kinda always did, this time more than normal so I knew it was business related. "They can stay" I wanted the boys to be around if it was bad news. "Actually never mind let's just go to the meeting, Chan is waiting for us you know how impatient he can get" Changbin brushed it off as if whatever he had to say wasn't so important after all and it could wait. I just shrugged it off and followed the boys as Felix holds the door open.
The meeting was extremely uninteresting they just talked about weapons and money. At a certain point I began to drown it out, in my own little world of make belief I drifted away. I was sure that the boys could tell that I wasn't listening because I was drawing doodles into the polished black table with my right index finger. I was completely fine until the one thing that finally grabbed my attention. "This all sounds interesting guys truly but the problem is, is that the weapons don't intrigue me like they should. Since being here the only thing that has caught my attention was her." I froze, hand still pressed against the table but my eyes were glued down afraid to even look.
I can feel everyone's eyes on me and to meet everyone's eyes was what I was the most afraid at the moment. Little did I know was that the worst was yet to come. " That nice sir" Felix laughed it off trying to divert the conversation back to their original topic yet trying to still stay respectful, this man was older after all. I finally look up again and look around too see the nervousness on most of their face, except Chan's. Felix continues "These weapons sir are one of a kind though , hand crafted in Russia. We're the only one that has these" the short korean man with dark black hair that was parted in the middle. " Yes, and you've said this all before. What I truly want know is. How much for the girl?"
I looked around hoping to see another girl in the room but I know I was the only girl that stayed there. "Me?" I question while pointing to myself which caused the man to laugh. "Well you are the only girl in this room aren't you?" He laughs once more but he was the only person to laugh. "Yeah. Well she not for sale, sorry." Hyunjin spoke up I could she the irritation in his eyes but it was a look I've never seen before a look I was most terrified of.
With that look came another that matched but worse it was greed and it was in the eyes of Chan. I was in shock , he just stood there silently. "Sorry but the only thing we're selling today are weapons" Han says with confidence but Chan had different plans. "How much?" The now brown haired boy squints at his buyer. "800" the man says with his chest. "800 thousand? Surely you must be joking" Felix rolls his eyes and still the man seemed organized and structured.
"No kid. You seem to be the one with the humor" The short korean man seemed slightly insulted. " 800 million" my eyes widen because the intensity in the room had reached a whole new level and it was unbelievable that it seemed like he was actually thinking about it.
"Chris please say something" my eyes watered and my voice cracked and in that moment I knew the answer. He had already made up him mind, he couldn't even look at me . "Sold." Was all he said still looking at every person but me. "Kinley I'll have Changbin pack your things and you'll be riding back with Mr.Song" was the last thing he said to me before the buyer's men began to drag me out.
"No she's not for sale! Please don't take her!" Hyunjin yelled but Changbin and Jeongin held him back. I took one last look and Christopher before I was completely dragged out of the room. Our eyes finally met , he winks at me and a tear gently rolled off my cheek.
