When in the streets of Seoul

Were stray kids

I got messages from Chris apologizing and telling me to meet up with him so that he could 'make it up to me'. I was gonna be stubborn and not go but I guess in the end I just decided why not? What's the worst that could happen? In my car I followed the directions that were given to me by my phone .

I arrived at a mansion and thought maybe I put in the wrong address but when I put the address in again it said "arrived" shrugging my shoulders I finally got out the car and walked all the way to the door. I rang the doorbell and waited patiently for someone to answer the door.

I still didn't believe that Chris actually lived here until One of the boys that had dark hair and a sharp chin answered. I honestly don't know what I expected but I sure didn't expect this. "I must admit when Chan told me you were coming I didn't think you'd actually come" he opened the door and stepped to the side to let me come in. "Chan?" I questioned, I didn't know who Chan was "Chan is Chris we call him Chan he's the boss man" what? The boss man what did that even mean? "Im changbin by the way" he smiled "I'm sure you'll meet the others today too since we all live here" how could every single one of them live there? "By yourselves? Like with no parents or help?" Changbin just shook his head no in response. "Wow" was the only thing that came out of my mouth. Weird....

Changbin walked me up a long beautiful spiral staircase and led me down the marble floor hallway where giant paintings hung on the wall.

Finally we arrived at a long wooden door. "There you go, if  you need anything tell Chan to call me" he begins to walk off. "Wait! You're not gonna come in?" Changbin looked slightly terrified when I asked that question. "Not if you wanna die. You don't come in unless you're asked to or it's an emergency"I didn't know what to say. I stood there in fear contemplating on if I should go in or not. "You're j-joking right?" he just shook his head no. "Dont  worry though. He wants you in there" he says before walking off.

I stood there for a moment before turning the knob and coming in.
"I told you not to fucki- oh kinley hi" his demeanor changed once he saw that it was me. " What's up Chan" I put emphasis on the name Chan and crossed my arms. Let's not forget I was mad him before I came here and noe I'm just learned his name is chan! "Oh you heard about what the boys call me aye?" He laughed getting up from behind the desk he was sitting at. "So all these boys work for you?" I arched my right eyebrow still leaving my arms crossed.

"Yes and no" everything about this was so confusing. If he wanted to make things up with me , why did he think that this was the way to do it? Was he trying to impress me? "I own my own.." he looked as if he's searching for the right words "business" he says getting closer and closer. I wanted to back up but I didn't want him to know that I was slightly afraid of him.

I think because he's so calm and collected about everything is what scares me the most. "So what exactly do you do?" Before he can answer the door swings open with so much force that not only did I feel the wind but my hair blew in my face. "Chan we have a situation" it was Hyunjin he was standing in the doorway completely out of breath. "Handle it then, I'm busy!" Chris says through gritted teeth. "We can't! we need you" hyunjin ran out the hallway but you could still hear him In the distance "she shouldn't see this" he shouts at Chris but it was so faint you could barely hear it. "Stay here" Chris had crouched down to be eye level with me while placing his hands on my shoulders. "Why?" I shouted, I wanted to know what was going on. He began to walk out to the door but my question made him stop in his tracks. "I said stay here" was all he said before continuing out the door.

I sat there for a moment trying to process everything that just happened and then I realized something. He may the boss of the boys in this house but he sure fucking hell isnt the boss of me. I ran out the door and could still see Chris , he had just sharply turned the right corner. If I really wanted to see what was going on I had to catch up just enough to see where he's going.

I walk down the spiral stairs to see all the boys at the bottom two of them dragging one guy away, another one still alive but bloody . His face had been beaten up to the point where he didn't even look human anymore. I stood midway in the staircase because none of them were paying attention even though all of them except Chris was facing me. "Are you gonna tell me where it is or are you gonna end up like your friend?" Chris was circling around him.

What was scary is that Chris had the exact same smile he always had. Was he getting some sort of pleasure out of this? "Go fuck yourself" the man immediately spits out blood. "That's fair" The blonde haired boy chuckled. He walks behind the man that was on his knees and placed his hands on his head. I instantly knew where this was going so I closed my eyes and turned my head away. I knew Chris had a dark side but I never thought this was what it was. I soon heard a crack and the sound of the body hitting the ground.

I opened my eyes to see changbin taking out his knife and carving something on his face but I couldn't make it out. I see hyunjin tap Chan's shoulder and point at me causing everyone else to stare at me. No point in running away now , if they wanted to kill me then there was no way out so I continued to walk all the way down the stairs. "Y-you killed him" I stuttered, I could barely get it out. I was terrified that I was next. "I told you to stay in the office" he sternly said to me. "You know we have to kill her now right? I mean she's seen too mu-" "were not killing her" he was quick to cut the red haired boy of who looked fairly young in fact the youngest out of all of them. "I have a better idea" he smiled placing his hand on his chin.

"Who are you" I say looking around my eyes laid upon the dead body by my feet on the floor and saw the words 'stray kids' carved into the man's forehead. I gasped looking up at Chris who just had the same exact look on his face from before.

"We're stray kids"
