Okay so I finally talked some sense to Maylen that we couldn't go at night cause that's when the beast actually comes around so she agreed and we finally got to the graveyard around 5:30
When we got there an elderly man was there trimming the trees when he finally noticed us he smiled then his eyes darted towards Maylen
"Hi Edward" Maylen said heading towards him then we followed
"Hello may to what do I owe this visit and I see you brought friends"
"Yes um you see this gentleman over here" she said pulling Allen forward and he seemed confused so did I "came to say hello to his deceased sister, you understand don't you?" She said smiling at Edward
"Yes oh I'm so sorry for your loss son" he said tapping Allen on the shoulder
"Umm yes thank you"
"Edward do you mind giving us a little space, go on a Break or something"
"Oh sure but make sure you girls head home in time okay"
"Yes sir" I replied and with that he walked out
"Are you serious" Allen finally spoke up
"About?" She said walking forward while we followed behind
"About me saying goodbye to my deceased sister"
"Yea Maylen, you don't wish someones sister dead like that what if it actually happens" I replied backing Allen up
Then she stopped and turned facing me "and who said I was joking, Allens sister's actually dead" she said then she pointed her index finger at a stone "look" I was actually shocked then I turned to Allen who was actually staring at the floor
"Oh Allen I'm really sorry"
"It's nothing it happened few months ago so it cool" he said staring at her tomb then I bent down to take a good look at the inscription *Amber Hart* it read then I remembered touching this particular tomb
"I remember this tomb, remember the last time you saw me here Maylen?, I actually saw how she died" I said still staring at the tomb but she just walked towards Allen and gave him a hug, I wonder how this two fell for each other she's clearly older than him with like 5yrs or something, but I just ignored them and decided to check out other tomb maybe I would find Demetrias--- speaking of the devil
There it was.
It was just as normal looking as the rest I could barely see what was written on it with all the dust on it saw I reached to dust it off---- suddenly everywhere was dark I spunned around searching for Maylen and Allen but they suddenly disappeared too then I realized I was in front of a crooked looking house.
Someone knelt in front of it, I looked closer and it was Demetria she was saying something under her breath then she got up and poured something right in front of the house and "o my God is that blood" I said to myself and suddenly she turned she looked old and haggered, her eyes were sagged, she looked horrible "youuu" she said at the top of her lungs pointing her index finger at me
"Don't you dare you will regret this" she was walking towards me, "she can see me"? I thought I took a step back and another then she started running towards me I turned and took off my heart beating faster I couldn't see anything or where I was heading I just ran and suddenly I felt something hard hit the back of my head I shrieked and fell flat on my face.
By the time I got up I wasn't there anymore and I could see Maylen and Allen looking down at me "Karen are you alright" she said trying to get me on my feet, I groaned my head was aching so I touched it with my palm the withdrew it and I realized I was bleeding
"Jesus Karen you're bleeding"
"Yes Demetria she-she threw something at me"
"You saw her?"
"Yea she dared me not to do it that I'll regret it" I said dusting myself.
"Don't listen to her she's trying to scare you"
"Hey let head home and get your head ices shall we?" Allen said trying to support me.
"Wait...wait um I saw Demetria she sealed the house with someones blood"
"Really?!"
"Yea but I don't know who"
There was silence for a while
"If Demetria tied Maylen to the curse to Maylen who elses blood would she use to seal the house that had the power to end all this "
"Allen you're a genius, it's me, my blood, but how did she get it"
"Are we gonna stay here and think of that? Comon let go at least we know what to do"
"You're right I mean we're just two days early but the earlier the better right, we go now we end everything" Maylen said she sounded excited
"But what about the beast I mean I'm Not concerned about myself but you two"
"It okay I'm here we're good, at least we would take Demetria by surprise"
"She's a ghost, how do you know she's not here right now"
"Umm she's not comon let go"
"What about your head Karen?"
Allen asked
"I'm fine" really I was fine I mean all this whole curse thing was going to head in a few hours. Maylen grabbed a knife from Edwards desk and we ran out.
We followed Maylen since she knew Demetrias house
"How does whole breaking curse thing work tho" I asked we were still walking
"The beasts heart okay his the one killing the girls so Demetria locked up his heart in a room
Hopefully we find the particular room, since Demetria has about 15 rooms in that crooked house, and hopefully you find it first since you're the chosen one, you find the heart and smash it and boom we're free" she said grinning
"Better said than done Maylen" I murmured
"Hey you can do this" Allen said comforting me. I just smiled and we walked on.
