"JUNGKOOK!"

Jungkook flinched, sitting crouched in front of apartment 5623 with a small paper in his hand.

"Tch," he clicked his tongue, evidently annoyed, but still making sure to place the paper on the floor and ring the doorbell before he ran back to his apartment at an inhumane pace.

"Yes, father?" Jungkook said in a sickeningly sweet voice, gagging at himself inside.

His father shook his head in disappointment, "How many more times do you have to keep doing all this useless shit before you're satisfied? Why? You were the top student at the best high school in Japan, you-"

Ah shit, here he goes with his list, Jungkook thought, looking at a crumb on the table to distract himself.

"... WHY WON'T YOU JUST ACCEPT YOUR ROLE TO TAKE MY POSITION IN THE COMPANY?"

Oh, he's done, Jungkook turned his attention away from the crumb to his father.

"Because," Jungkook began, "I want to live a normal college kid life and get my dream job."

"Eeehh?" His father said, his words laced with anger, "You still say the same thing every time, but how many times do I have to tell you, BEING A GODDAMN BAKER WON'T WORK AS A BOY!"

Jungkook flinched again, Ouch.

"God, why are you like this? You have the chance to skip college and be the next CEO of one of the biggest companies in Japan, this is something that happens in a LIFETIME! ANYONE would take this offer, BUT YOU!"

"I already said-"

"ALL YOU DO IS BAKE AND DING DONG DITCH 5623! THIS TIME YOU EVEN DING DONG DITCHED WITH SOME MAGICAL PAPER THAT YOU SPENT A FORTUNE ON!"

He never listens.

"I just wanted to make some friends.." Jungkook said quietly, knowing his father couldn't hear him.

That's not how you make friends, dumbass, his father thought, hearing him anyway. Crap.. now I feel bad.

Jungkook looked up at his father, "Can I go now? I'll think about it, I promise."

His father sighed, knowing he most likely wouldn't, "Fine."

Jungkook walked upstairs, looking at his apartment mansion, still confused at why a three-person family needed such a large house.

Why is this big of an apartment even in this building?

He shrugged it off and walked to his room, looking up at all the recipes and posters he had.

Jungkook strolled to his desk, looking at the blank paper with a drawn pencil on it. He turned it over, disappointed.

I guess they didn't get it yet..

On his bed was a big fat notebook, several pages sticking out of it, anybody could tell it was an old book.

He sighed, jumping on his bed, bringing the notebook to his chest.

Why couldn't I be born normally?
