Will Kihyun ever find the right moment to confess his feelings for Ava, who happens to be his best friend Changkyun's sister? Things start to fall in place and only get deeper from that point on.
As they walked down the sidewalk, laughing and admiring the scenery, Ava's phone rang and she stopped real quick, stopping their talk to answer it.
"Hello? Now? Can't it wait? Fine, I'll be there here soon..I have company, so I'm bringing him." She huffed as she hung up the phone and stuck it back in her purse.
"I have to work on some lyrics and it's not exactly with a person I'm fond of sometimes...they know I have company, so they can deal with it." Kihyun saw her face twitch a little as she took a deep breath and calmed down a little.
"I promise I won't try to get in your way. I didn't know you worked as a songwriter, maybe I can work on something with you some day?" He asks politely, watching as Ava genuinely smiled and blushed a little.

*They leave the park and arrive at the record label soon after.*
As she reached a random door, she typed in the code to get in. As the door swung open, Kihyun saw the face that focused on the both of them and he felt a little unsettled.
"Jinja Ava, I figured you would have gave it a little more time....would you be able to grab a paper from Park Lee down the hall? It has to do with the song you and I need to finish." A emotionless expression showing as Ava struggled to not scream.

"I swear if we didn't have to work together Min Yoongi....I'll be back here quick. Don't be rude to Kihyun or I'll deal with it." Ava warned him as she patted Kihyun on the shoulder tenderly before heading out the door, the lock clicking shut behind her.
"You think she would have shot me on sight huh? Guess I deserve that being a total ass during our relationship. I messed up the engagement. You her new boy toy?” Min Yoongi casually asks, leaning back in his chair and studying Kihyun closely.
"No, but I would like to have that chance. I didn't know she was engaged. But you think I would have considering her brother is my best friend. That's probably why she drew away for a while. I can tell you aren't exactly the warmest sometimes, but I do care for her a lot Yoongi. I don't want her to hurt anymore than she already has." Kihyun stated, standing against the wall and crossing his arms across his chest.
Min Yoongi chuckled a moment before getting up and heading over near Kihyun to fix some knobs on the producing table.
"That ship has long sailed for her and I, so no worries. I still care for her a lot and kick myself for losing such a sweet woman. Changkyun isn't my biggest fan and I wouldn't blame him. But I've been doing my best to try and make up for that. I've spooked off some potential joker's away from her. Something about you is different, I'll still be watching though." Min Yoongi mentioned, Kihyun noticing the little bit of emotion in his voice.
"I can swear to you I won't hurt her, I've been in love with her since we first met.." Kihyun's voice cracked a little as he admitted those feelings to Min Yoongi. Before Yoongi could reply, the door cracked open and Ava reappeared.
"Park said the chorus of the song needs help...heard that one of the back up singers took off?” Ava asked, handing the paper to Min Yoongi and he reads over it real quick.
"Yeah, chick totally flaked. I swear if you did this big favor for me, I'll be forever in your debt. Who else can reach those notes? You know you have a great voice." Min Yoongi begged and made a cute face as Ava took a deep breath and contemplated what he asked.

"You owe me big meow meow....mianhae if your ears hurt a little Kihyun.." Ava joked as she headed towards the booth and shut the door behind her.
As she got situated, Min Yoongi motioned for Kihyun to sit down by him.
"You'll thank me later. I know I'll owe her a big favor. She hardly sings in front of people. What she doesn't know is that this song was written for her. My secret..." Min Yoongi gave Kihyun a pained look before he laid the paper down and Kihyun saw the name of the song was "Save Me”.
As he started up the music and pointed at Ava to start, Kihyun was mesmerized by the sound of her voice as it felt like she suffered sadly with the lyrics. He never knew she felt the beat of the music that deeply.

After she finished, he got down to business and messed with some controls and raised some buttons into position. Ava walked back in to the sound of the finished chorus starting to play and she bit her lip shyly as she saw Kihyun admiring her in a way she had never seen seen before.
"Thank you Ava, you have my undying loyalty from now on. I know my number is still in your phone. Y'all are free to go. Here's my number if she gives you trouble ok?" He jokingly declared, handing Kihyun a piece of paper with his number on it which Kihyun quickly added and sent Min Yoongi a quick text to stay connected. Before he threw the paper away, he read the message right next to it.
"Don't let her get away, she's a beautiful soul."
Ava raised her eyebrow towards the exchange, but shrugged it off. Every so often he picks and chooses a person to be nice to.
"Have a good one, I might have to text you to redeem my favor from you." She gave him a quick hug and slowly rubbed his back before pulling away and walking towards the door with Kihyun.
As they left and Min Yoongi was once again alone, he started to play the song all the way through, a tear silently sliding down his left cheek.
"It doesn't get any easier seeing her huh Min Min?” He sadly said to himself, wiping away the tear as he leaned back and caught his breath before saving the song after it stopped playing and turning everything off before heading out of the studio.
